Today, nine years ago, Americans learned the truth about Islam and Muslims. President Bush said they hated us because we were free.

He was wrong. They hate us because we are not Muslims and especially because we are Christians...for the most part.

As long as we remain not Muslims and as long as we remain Christian, we will be hated and terrorized.

A pastor of a small church recently stirred the global poop-pot by announcing he would burn the Qur'an on 9/11 as a statement. The Muslim world almost had a collective heart attack. I truly wish they had all had a physical heart attack.

The American military had to burn American bibles in Afghanistan for fear of reprisals from those Islamic bastards.

Now we can't exercise our 1st Amendment Right to freedom of expression, including protest in our own country because of these Islamic bastards of Satan, however, THEY can do whatever they want, wherever they want, because the whole world is scared of them and what will happen....yet the world allows Iran to build a nuclear weapon.

In 2007 "...Muslim gunmen used rocket-propeled grenades (RPGs) to blow through the doors of the church and school, before burning Bibles and destroying every cross they could get their hands on." -- Christians in Gaza Fear for Their Lives as Muslims Burn Bibles and Destroy Crosses and that is OK but Americans can't burn a Qur'an in their own country, in their own town?

The repeating chant of the Muslims worldwide to to kill all infidels, kill anyone not a Muslim.

Now given this outlook by the Islamic Bastards of Satan, do you REALLY believe any high ranking, self-respecting Muslim would ever state the desire to have an infidel as a leader or to say their holy prayers? Of course not! They behead infidels, not ask them to give the prayers, yet we are to believe that is exactly what has come to pass.

This, more than any thing else, should open the self-imposed blindness of the Obama supporters to see, there is a Muslim in the White House.

You say, "So what? America was founded on religious tolerance."

I say you are correct however, this religion as made it a holy dictate, a holy mission, it is ordained by that Qur'an we can't burn as false heretical propaganda, that Muslims are to convert non-believers (that would be you and I) and if they refuse, kill them. Period. End of story. No tolerance. No religious freedom. No America as we know it.

And we have a Muslim, who by definition believes this way. All one has to do is stop listening to his words and watch his actions to see the truth.

Even as early as Sept 11, 2009 many Americans could see the mistake voters had made by electing this person.

Faye Parrish wrote an detailed and very telling article titled An Open Letter to President Obama on the Occasion of 9/11 and while it is too long to copy here, her message is that the American people have noticed what he has and hasn't done. I can only imagine what she would add to it given Obama's support of Black Panthers against Republican voters and how he has treated Arizona.

No...on this day, Sept 11th, America remembers what Islam is all about, the families of those beheaded remember what Islam is all about and voters will remember what is happening in their country in Nov 2012.

When the Muslim population in a host country is small, the Muslim leadership is willing to "play nice" and get along. As the population grows and Muslims begin to take leadership positions within the community, and then at the national level, they will begin to demand (note the word DEMAND) Shari'ah Law under the guise of wanting to follow their own law, intertwined with their religion in such a manner as to not allow it would be deemed a violation of a religious right.

In the video below, Anjem Choudary (Head of Islam4UK) explains what the future of Britain will be like under Shari'ah. There is NO COMPROMISE, there is NO TOLERANCE, there is NOTHING BUT SHARI'AH! This is how Britains will live, how the Queen will live. She will have to remove herself from Buckingham Palace and either convert to Islam or leave the country...HER OWN COUNTRY!

We in America know that happens in Britain usually happens over here within a year or two. Will America see this Islamic trampling of our Constitution and our laws? Will we see some Muslim leader begin to tell us, we can either convert or leave our country, our homes, family farms handed down for generations, family businesses handed down since great-grandfather emigrated from Italy, France, Germany, Scotland and even Britain?

Yes, I think we will see this...hear this.

Already in parts of the country we are seeing the movements of the coming wave of demands, first locally and soon nationally.

As of the summer of 2007, MSA announced that at least nine universities had set aside prayer rooms for Muslims only. And let's NOT forget what happened in 2009 at Fort Hood, Texas in the name of Allah, the God of Islam:

Maybe that massacre at Fort Hood was a test run. Maybe Islamic fanatics think, based on this and Obama's support for the Ground Zero Mosque in NYC, that America will be an easy target.

Just because there are pockets of demands and concessions throughout the north and just because Muslims (Islamic Fascist) have not been thrown out of the country (yet), do not think America will go quietly as Europe has.

The only way Islamic radicals will ever take over America is to continue to breed like pigs, and over take this nation with sheer numbers. But how many of their children will be converted to Christianity in the mean time?

And will Americans tolerate the beheading of children on this soil?

What? You didn't think the Islamic-fascist-radical-Antichrist-type "religion" would do such a thing as behead children? Take the blinders off and at least learn the enemy you are welcoming into your "homes".

Three 12-year-old Indonesian Christian schoolgirls were beheaded by Muslims for walking home from school, unattended by a male family member. Is this what you want in America? If we allow the religion of the Antichrist to become a powerful force within our borders, this is what you will have secured for your children and grandchildren.

Women in America won the right to vote, the right to have credit in their own name, the right to equal pay for equal work, and many other liberties their counter parts around the world do not enjoy. Just this month, Time's cover was very hard for many of us to view, but we must see what we are allowing here in the greatest country in the world.

Somethin’ Funny’s Goin’ On

The Manta.com website includes a database of over 63 million US and foreign companies. That database info is provided by Dunn & Bradstreet (D&B). Manta.com will provide preliminary information on each of these millions of companies for free. If you want more “in-depth” info, there’s a fee.

But since this article is about “funny” stuff, and paying fees isn’t fun, let’s run a few free searches and see what we can find. You might be surprised.

For example, if you type “Government of the United States” into the Manta.com search engine, you’ll be whisked to a list of “7,666 matching US companies”.

The first “company” on the list is:

“Government of the United States (US Government) HQ
“the u.s. Capitol Washington DC”

The “HQ” stands for “headquarters”.

If you scroll down the list of other companies below the “Government of the United States,” you’ll find “branches” like “Executive Office of the United States Government” (6 entries), “United States Department of the Air Force (US Government),” “The Navy United States Department of (US Government Naval Reserves),” and “United States Court of Appeals For The 11th Circuit United States Courthouse”.

Apparently, the Navy, Air Force and Courts are “companies”.

That’s kinda “funny,” doncha think?

If you click on the “Government of the United States HQ” link, you’ll see another website page with some fairly detailed—and possibly bewildering—information.

For example, you’ll see that this “Government of the United States” has its address at:

“the u.s. capitol

“Washington, DC 20515-0001”

Its phone number is “(202) 224-3121”. Business Hours are “24/7”.

You can click the “map” link and see a graphic indicating that this “Government” is located on “Capitol Hill” (same place as Congress) in Washington DC.

None of that seems particularly surprising (other than the idea that our “Government” might be a “company” and/or a conglomerate of “companies”). But the Manta.com report does begin to seem a little strange under the heading “About Government Of The United States” where we read:

“government, owner archbishop deric r. mccloud of basilica shrine michigan and 4th ne street washington,dc”.

Say whut? Does that abbreviated text really indicate that the owner of the “Government Of The United States” is an archbishop named Deric R. McCloud? Who could be dumb enough to think (or even mistakenly write) that the “Government of the United States” was owned by an archbishop?

A: Apparently, Dunn & Bradstreet was dumb enough.

And just in case you think we can’t be talking about the “Government of the United States,” take a gander at the “Additional Information” heading and you’ll read (as of August 6th, A.D. 2010):

“all receipents [sic] of federal funds that have any kind of criminal case or felony federal, state, local or served time in prison federal, state, benefits terminate 7/26/10 by barack obama administration.”

The reference to “barack obama” shows that this entry for “Government of the United States HQ” does, indeed, describe the very same “Government of the United States” that we all so love and admire. (Don’t forget that this “Government” and all its various “branches” are being reported by D&B to be individual, private companies.)

OK, OK—maybe this article isn’t really all that “funny” (ha-ha!), but it’s still pretty “funny” (strange).

• Go back to the top of the “Government of the United States” page and click the “More Info” tab. Under “Employees (Estimated)” you’ll read:

“2,768,886

“At this location

“3”

2.7 million federal employees sounds about right. This enormous number of employees confirms that we’re viewing information on the “Government of the United States”.

But if only “3” of those millions of employees are “At this location” (the “HQ”) who are the “chosen 3”? And where, precisely is “this location”? Capitol Hill? Yes—but where on Capitol Hill? In the Senate chamber? The House of Representatives? If there are only “3” people at the HQ, that HQ might be as small as some cloakroom.

Curiouser and curiouser.

Under “State of Incorporation” you’ll read “Information not found”. This could mean that this “Government of the United States” was never formally “incorporated”. Or it might mean that the information concerning that incorporation is intentionally concealed.

However, we can see a clue to the possible date of incorporation for this “Government of the United States” under the heading “Years in Business” which reads “223”. If the “Government of the United States” began 223 years ago, there should be a constitution or charter to mark its creation at that time.

This is A.D. 2010, so “223” years ago would be A.D. 1787.

But that’s odd.

Why? Because our current “Government of the United States” should have been created by “The Constitution of the United States” and therefore could not have existed prior to the ratification of the Constitution.

In A.D. 1787, the Constitutional Convention completed the final draft of the Constitution on September 17th. That proposed Constitution for a new “federal government” was then submitted to the Congress that already existed under the Articles of Confederation (ratified in A.D. 1781). The Confederation Congress quickly “approved” the proposed Constitution under Article 13 of the Articles of Confederation and then sent it out to We the People for ratification.

Article VII of the Constitution declares, “The Ratification of the Conventions of nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same.” I.e., the Constitution (and resulting federal government) could not become effective and operational until it was ratified by at least nine of the States of the Union.

Thus, while the Constitution may have been “approved” by the existing Congress in A.D. 1787, it could not have been established and ordained by We the People until ratified by at least 9 States. But the 9th State (New Hampshire) didn’t ratify until June 21st, A.D. 1788.

Wikipedia article “Unites States Constitution” reports:

“Once the Congress of the Confederation received word of New Hampshire’s ratification, it set a timetable for the start of operations under the new Constitution, and on March 4, 1789, the [new, federal] government began operations.” [Bracketed insertion mine.]

Since the Constitution created the federal “Government” and could not have been ratified by We the People before A.D. 1788 (when the 9th State ratified), D&B’s report that the “Government of the United States” began “223” years ago (A.D. 1787) can’t be true. The earliest that the Constitution could’ve been deemed ratified and operations was A.D. 1788—222 years ago. Similarly, given that the new federal “Government” was not actually operational until A.D. 1789, the D&B report that this “Government” has been “in business” since A.D. 1787 also seems mistaken. Under this criteria, the earliest that the federal Government might become operational was A.D. 1789—221 years ago.

Big deal, hmm?

Who cares?

Aren’t I merely making a mountain out of data entry error mole hill? Didn’t the D&B clerk responsible for the data entry simply write “223” when she meant “222” or even “221”?

I doubt it. If I’m right, it is a “big deal”. Here’s why:

In A.D. 2008, I first learned about the Manta.com reports that suggest our government is some sort of conglomerate of “companies” and “branches”. When I first read the D&B “Government of the United States” report two years ago, Manta.com had a different website format. In that earlier format, Manta.com reported that “Government of the United States” started in “1787”. (Today, they report “223” years in business.)

In 2008, when I first saw “1787,” I knew that either: 1) the D&B data entry clerk made a mistake; or 2) the current “Government of the United States” is somehow presumed to have started at least one year before the Constitution itself was ratified and two years before the resulting federal government became operational.

If so, whatever currently passes for our “Government of the United States” is not based on the authority of We the People, but on some other “authority”. Thus, this is a potentially “big” deal.

I also knew that if the D&B clerk didn’t make a data entry error, that the Manta.com website might be changed to eliminate evidence that today’s “Government of the United States” is not be the same “Government” created by the Constitution ratified by People in A.D. 1788. So, in A.D. 2009, I downloaded and retained complete copies of about 25 Manta.com website pages for safekeeping.

As I’d anticipated, the Manta.com website has since been modified and some information found two years ago has been changed or “disappeared”.

For example, where Manta.com used to report that the “Government” began in “1787,” it now reports that it’s been in business for “223” years. That’s not a big change. It’s still possible that the numbers “223” and “1787” simply reflect some persistent data entry calculation error. But given the differences between “1787” and “223,” the probability of a mere data entry error is reduced. It therefore seems increasingly possible that the current D&B report on “Government of the United States” may correctly declare that that “Government” started the year before the Constitution was ratified by the People.

If so, as crazy as it sounds, it is therefore conceivable that there might be two editions of our “Constitution”: 1) one approved by the Confederation Congress in A.D. 1787; and 2) another, ratified by We the People in A.D. 1788. The text of both of these “editions” of the Constitution would be identical, but the underlying authority would be completely different.

Under the Constitution ratified by People in A.D. 1788, the enacting authority and national sovereigns would (consistent with the principles of the “Declaration of Independence”) be We the People. As individual sovereigns, We the People would enjoy the “republican form of government” guaranteed at Article 4 Section 4 of the federal Constitution.

However, under the possible Constitution “approved” by Congress in A.D. 1787, the enacting authority and national sovereigns would be the Congress. If Congress were the constitutional sovereign, our form of government would be an aristocracy of 535 men and women. Worse, under such aristocracy, you and I would be presumed to be subjects or even slaves. If the Constitution “approved” by Congress in A.D. 1787 were in effect today (rather than the Constitution ratified by the People in A.D. 1788), you and I can’t be free.

Yes, this conjecture sounds like another howling conspiracy theory. But even so, since the Constitution wasn’t ratified until A.D. 1788 and the resulting government didn’t become operational until A.D. 1789, D&B’s report that the government began “223” years ago and/or began in “1787” can’t be accurate. So, it seems at least “odd” that an entity as professional a D&B would make such a peculiar error.

It’s also curious that D&B describes the “Government of the United States” as a company and “HQ” over a number of other “branches” (like the Army, Navy, Air Force and courts) that are also deemed to be “companies”.

Somethin’ funny’s goin’ on here.

• If you’re up for even more funny stuff, enter “Nancy Pelosi” into the Manta.com search engine. You’ll be taken to a list of “2 matching U.S. companies”:

1) “United States House of Representatives (Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi) BRANCH” at her San Francisco address; and

2) “Representative Nancy Pelosi (Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi) BRANCH” at her Washington DC address.

Click the #1 link, look for the heading “About United States House of Representatives,” and you’ll read:

“United States House Of Representatives is a private company categorized under Legislative Bodies, National and located in San Francisco, CA . . . .”

Whut th’ . . . ?!

The US House of Representative is “a private company”?! And it’s “located in San Francisco, CA” (the home of the Speaker of the House)?

More?

Look under the heading “United States House of Representatives Business Information” and you’ll read:

“United States House Of Representatives also does business as Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.”

The House of Representatives not only “does business” but does so “as Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi”? Is “Nancy Pelosi” something like a trademark, alter ego or registered agent for the “private company” we call the “House of Representatives”? Is she the CEO and/or D/B/A for the House of Representatives, Inc.?

Incidentally, the 2009 edition of Manta.com’s report on Nancy Pelosi (that I recorded and saved) declared that the US House of Representatives was “also traded as Nancy Pelosi”.

Also traded as?! What does that mean? Are we talking about packages of bubble gum that include government “trading cards” featuring photos of the House of Representatives and Nancy Pelosi? Or is the House of Representatives and/or Nancy Pelosi some sort of stock? If so, who’s buying, who’s selling? Who owns that “company”?

• Enter “US Social Security Admin” into the search engine. Scroll down a bit and you’ll read:

“US Social Security Admin is a private company categorized under Federal Government-Social and Human Resources and located in West Branch, MI.”

So-So Security is a “private company” . . . ? That’s not located in Washington DC, but rather in “West Branch, MI” . . . ? I don’t know what that means, but I can’t help but laugh. Somethin’ funny is goin’ on here.

• Try “Internal Revenue Service”. Manta.com will produce “41,632 matching U.S. companies”. Some of these are clearly private entities that have no governmental pretense, but many or most are “governmental”.

If you click the link to “Internal Revenue Service, Internal Revenue Dst Council,” you’ll read “Internal Revenue Service is a private company categorized under Federal Goverenment-Finance and Taxation and located in Portland, OR.”

Click the “Internal Revenue Service, Andover Service Center . . . . Andover MA” link and you’ll read that “Internal Revenue Service is a private company categorized under Federal Government-Finance and Taxation and located in Andover, MA.”

Two different locations indicate two different “private companies”.

These reports (and scores more) suggest that each individual IRS office may be a separate “private company”. Therefore, if you’re contacted by an IRS office in Austin, Texas, you may be dealing with one “private company”. If you’re subsequently contacted by another IRS office from, say, Provo, Utah—you might be dealing with a completely different “private company”.

What’s your obligation to talk to several different “private companies” about your income taxes? Are there privacy concerns in sharing your tax information with several private companies?

And given that there are at least several score (and perhaps several thousand) “private companies,” operating as an “Internal Revenue Service,” who are you really paying your income taxes to? H&R Block?

• There are a host of additional “private companies” that you might want to research. I collected website pages for about two dozen in 2008 and 2009. I’m not sure how many of those can still be found, but if you can find ‘em and if you read closely, you may be fascinated. Search for: “United States Court of Appeals,” “District of Columbia,” “George W Bush,” and “Supreme Court of the United States”. All were listed by D&B as “private companies”.

You may find other D&B reports that are similarly fascinating or bewildering. What does D&B have to say about the CIA or Homeland Security? Inquiring minds wanna know.

• What’s it all mean? I’m not sure. Perhaps D&B is merely guilty of gross negligence when it comes to entering data on governmental entities.

Or, maybe the entire structure of what currently passes for “government” is actually a conglomerate of “private companies” run by an aristocratic Congress that’s owned by . . . who? The world’s bankers?

If so, the true nature of the “Government of the United States” might not be that of a “republic” or even a “democracy,” but rather a combination of governmental and corporate interests (“private companies”) that’s usually described as “fascism”. If so, we no longer have “government of the People, by the People and for the People” but instead have “government of the people, by the Congress, and for the Corporations.”

Whatever the explanation, somethin’ funny is goin’ on here.

Today, when it comes to government, an appearance of reality appears to have been substituted for reality. Our government is not what it appears to be; not what it professes to be—and that’s not funny at all, is it?

Confederate flags will be flown all across America

Over the latter part of the twentieth century, a segment of our society, Southerners and people with Confederate ancestry, have been denied their right to freedom of expression and the pursuit of [their] happiness due to another group within our society who believe this modified Saint Andrew's Cross represents a support of slavery or pro-slavery ideology.

Southerners and Confederate supporters see the CSA battle flag as a representation of the battle for States Rights against an overstepping and tyrannical federal government.

This is their flag and that is their reason for wanting to fly the Confederate flag, yet because others have stated they are offended by this flag, the CSA battle jack has become politically incorrect and the "offended" have grown so bold as to remove the smaller versions of the flag from the graves of Confederate veterans, often with little or no consequences. In one case in 2009, an Auburn, AL city councilman removed CSA flags from four graves the day before Confederate Memorial Day because the flags were offensive to him and represented the Ku Klux Klan.

The "offended" win and history loses. The rights of people with Southern historical beliefs are trampled by the opinions of others who shout loud enough and protest loud enough to block out Constitutional protections.

Now take this same argument, the one of "I'm offended so you can't enjoy your rights under the Constitution" and apply it to the Ground Zero Mosque.

Many have argued that the people wanting to build a mosque, which has become known as the "Ground Zero Mosque", 200 yards from the 2001 Sept 11th massacre should be allowed to do so because of THEIR rights under the Constitution. Please note that this would not even be an issue if not for the belief system held by those who want to build the mosque in the first place.

OK. They have a Right to buy and build whatever they want, where ever they wish. IF the stated purpose of "in the spirit of understanding and healing" is actually the truth, they have a moral and ethical duty to NOT build the mosque so close to the hallowed ground of the former WTC.

I suspect this purpose is nothing more than propaganda.

In battles, when an opposing side wins the ground from the enemy, do they not raise a flag? This was done in the American Revolution when the Patriots took ground from the British, it was done in every battle against the Native Americans with the building of a fort and the raising of the Stars & Stripes. The Indians understood the presence of a fort and flag would indicate they had lost control of the land.

During World War II, did not one of the most famous war-time photos in history depict the raising of the American flag on the eight square mile island of Iwo Jima?

Most of the countries of the world will raise flags over their battle fields and conquered lands. Why the middle eastern mindset is to build a mosque on the land as a testament to their victory is beyond my understanding but I do not have to understand the "why?" to believe it is so.

In every poll where the question is whether a mosque should be built so near to the place where innocent lives were destroyed, the overwhelming answer is "NO".

New Yorkers don't want it and the rest of America doesn't want it.

If this mosque is allowed to be built, then I say the "I'm offended" argument is pure poppycock and Confederate supporters should start flying their flags every where they wish, any time and without one single whimper from any one.

I especially do not want to hear from the U.S. Dept. of [in]Justice, or the perceived "closet Muslim-in-Chief" sitting in the White House, or the Black Panthers from any town. I don't want any city councilman, any La Raza-type group, or any self-righteous, indignant person even thinking of claiming an offense to the flag of my ancestors.

In the days leading up to the War of Northern Aggression, many families discussed, debated, fought and eventually split over their positions concerning which side was right, which side was wrong.

Both sides thought they were doing right by God and following His desires.

Today, who could possibly agree with turning America into a Socialist state? Only Progressive Liberals and others too ignorant to understand what they are doing.

It really isn't about Obama, although the Left and the New Black Panthers would like to make it so. This so they can call us racist and focus on Obama being the "first Black" president.

In truth, it has nothing whatsoever to do with his race or his undercover Muslim faith. It has everything to do with his ripping apart the Constitution and destroying the country.

And not just him...not just the Democrats because many Democrats who are not on the Globalist bandwagon are starting to see the end result if Obama is left unabated...and they don't like it either.

Before the 2012 elections, if America makes it that long before a civil war breaks out over 1) the treatment of Arizona & the silent invasion from Mexico, 2) The DOJ and the New Black Panthers, 3) New Black Panthers violent agenda for Whites, 4) the lack of jobs and families in despair, 5) the loss of jobs and a devastated economy along the Gulf of Mexico and 6) policies strangling the American people such as Cap & Trade...and the list could on and on...but if anything happens for which Obama can declare a state of emergency, would that ensure his being "president" long past 2012?

Right now, the only real solution is to force his hand over the Birth issue. Many people do believe he was born here..somewhere..that he is an American. I am not one of these people, but OK. Why all the secrecy? Why all the sealing of records, spending over a million dollars to hide something that really doesn't need to be hidden.

Could this strange action make an argument for his being mentally unstable, even paranoid? Could one argue that based on his irrational behavior, he is not fit to be president? He has stated he was a Constitutional Law Professor (actually just a senior lecturer..not a REAL professor, in the truest sense of the title) so he should know, above the average guy, what he can and can't do, yet he still breaks the Constitution at every opportunity! Is this not the irrational behaviour of a person suffering from delusions? Perhaps it is because he believes he is King already, therefore can do what he pleases with absolutely no regard for the Rule of Law!

This is the only explanation that makes any sense. For someone so educated, so intelligent, so above the world as the Obamaessiah, who has come to save the poor pitiful Democrat underdogs from the mean old Conservatives in America. Perhaps he should be hanging on a cross in Philadelphia since they think he is the new Messiah anyway. (Now don't go getting your panties in a wad. I am NOT advocating a lynching...it is a metaphor. Take an English class.)

My Grandmother's Sayings

I have been sitting on my hands waiting to write the next entry. With each week, my anger and frustration grows more and more.

My grandmother use to say "you can have a skunk for a pet as long as you remember it is a skunk and not a cat". What she meant was, the skunk as certain traits and you can't blame the skunk if he sprays you.

She also use to say, "it's given to a dog to bark and a baby to cry", meaning you can't blame the dog for barking and the baby for crying. If you don't like barking dogs or crying babies, don't have any.

And lastly, she use to say, "just because a cat has kittens in the oven, it doesn't make them biscuits", meaning just because something happens a certain way, it doesn't mean it is what it appears to be.

What does all this have to do with Obama?

It means, Obama is a Socialist, Progressive Democrat who from day one refused to act like he had any respect for the Rule of Law or the United States Constitution.

He refused to deliver the documents requested, unlike Sen. John McCain who did release all the documents, and this lack of cooperation should have been a major clue! A B-I-G RED FLAG!

Since his "election", he and his cronies in office have thumbed their collective noses at America almost daily.

Given that it was apparent Obama was not going to be a follower or supporter of America, we can't blame the skunk for spraying us.

We can't blame the dog for barking or the baby for crying.

And just because he says he was born in America, doesn't make it so and it damn sure doesn't make him an American.

Being American is more that just geography. It is the belief in the founding principles, which sparked the flame of the revolution, that man was created by God and therefore got his rights and liberties from the Creator and therefore was individually sovereign. This meant the citizen had the final say in his affairs so long as he wasn't harming another or an other's property, or breaking the law.

John Adams stated that the real revolution happened in the hearts and minds of the people long before the first shot was fired or the first meeting was held.

So, who do we blame for the sad state of affairs America finds herself in? We can blame every idiot in America who voted for this piece of crap.

California and New York are broke or nearly broke, Obama apologizes for us at every opportunity, he refuses to support the military, he refuses to support the states such as Arizona and he refuses to support the many Americans who have lost their jobs, homes and businesses to British Petroleum's reckless endangerment of America's ecology and financial stability in their search for oil dollars.

When Arizona passed their version of the FEDERAL law on illegal immigration, the knee-jerk response by Obama and company was to call it UnAmerican, UnConstitutional and threaten to file a suit to stop it from becoming law in Arizona. Obama even allowed the president of Mexico to lecture our Congress on our laws, with the Democrats giving him a standing ovation! Does Obama think we are already a One World Government and only we stupid citizens of each sovereign state fail to comprehend this?

Clearly "Zero & company" had no clue as to the Federal Law, admitting they had NOT read the Arizona law, yet pouncing on it with both feet, basically saying, "Hello world, we are incompetent!"

And what about California's version of the federal law? Why aren't the illegals and Calderon speaking out about this law? Probably because California doesn't enforce their own laws, yet they are crying they are broke.

In Louisiana, Gov. Jindal begged for assistance and finally, exercising their 10th Amendment right, just took matters into their own hands to protect their state. Louisiana began dredging and building sand berms to protect the delicate marshlands and was having some success.

Fighting Vampires

I was living in New Mexico (1999) when the Border XXI program was being pushed through, rather quietly, as are all attempts to steal the sovereignty of the United States and the American people.

There are those who feel they know what is best for us dumb worker bees. We are to just work, pay the Federal Income Tax, which is for nothing but to pay the interest on the loan, which the United States government borrows from the Federal Reserve to operate (spend money at will). How else can they tell us the country is in debt trillions of dollars and then turn around and send a combined $350 million in tsunami relief (2004)? Where does this money come from? Out of thin air. From the future tax payments of hard working Americans, the government is spending money they don't yet have, betting on the incoming taxes every April 15th.

The truth is, the United States entered into treaties and agreements with Mexico and Canada via the United Nations to create the North American Union.

There is an article written by Dr. Dennis L. Cuddy, which contains so much good information, I would have to include it all and that is too much to post here so, please review "The North American Union and the Bigger Plan", Dec 17,2007. Seeing things in hindsight always seems to make the points clearer.

Thank God some of these did not come to pass!

Our American independent spirit and our Constitution has been for us like the Cross and garlic has been to vampires in the stories. In reality, I think it is a fair comparison to equate those hell bent on destroying America with Vampires.

Are Holder and Obama Guilty of Treason Against the States?

Other states, which do not border Mexico and do not have to deal with the magnitude of the illegal alien crime problem, which Arizona citizens deal with, have no qualms about not only voicing an opinion but committing to economic sanctions against the good people of AZ.

No doubt the Seattle City Council were urged on to some degree over the outspoken disapproval of Obama and his henchman, Eric Holder.

Remember the old Mark Twain quote, "Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt".

Not only has this been a habit of Obama ("I've now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.." and his remarks about the police in Cambridge, Mass., when Henry Louis Gates grew angry over having to identify himself), but it seems it is also a qualification for the people around him.

We heard Joe Biden discussing with Katie Couric that a leader must know what he is talking about to instill confidence in the people. Then he had his Mark Twain moment with "we all know how Franklin Roosevelt got on television and..."

Just recently Eric Holder, after voicing strong, negative opinions concerning the Immigration law Arizona passed, even going so far as to threaten legal action against the State, has finally admitted he had not even read it! Basically he is depending on someone else to read it and then brief him. So he will not know what the law says, he'll get his opinion via the spin of whomever he authorizes to read it and then he'll sue Arizona over it!

His opinion carries weight due to his position, and he does not care enough about the law to read it before he voices an opinion?

I wonder if he and Obama (since prez O has also voiced opinions designed to extract negative public opinions against Arizona) are not guilty of treason against the State, against all the States?

U.S. Constitution: Article III, Section 3:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

Who is "them"? It isn't the Federal government. There is no Federal treason. The "them" are the parties to the United States Constitution, the individual States.

The Constitution is an agreement for group government between the sovereign States, which is WHY the Constitution is a limit on the Federal Government.

Now we have a self-proclaimed Constitutional Law instructor as president and a United States Attorney General, both apparently ignorant of The Law and it's limits, duties and responsibilities.

The Federal government has a responsibility to assist the States in their defense of invasion or crimes from another country. While this is a provision under a "Declared War" (ONLY Congress can make such a Declaration and the last time that happened was the Korean War), do you really think the Founders ever thought America would come to a point when the leadership was more interested in joining a global community at the sacrifice of the nation they took an Oath to protect and defend?

This is exactly what is happening and has been happening for decades. The Federal Government, in not providing assistance during the numerous pleas for help from the States, has in essence, been providing Aid and Comfort to the enemies of the affected States and is therefore, guilty of Treason against the States, if not in a strict sense then at least in a broad one.

The only way one could argue this is wrong, would be to argue that due to the various treaties the United States has entered into allows for the free flow of peoples across the borders and that these treaties are superior to our Constitution.

The argument would of course not be a valid one since no treaty or section of treaty that is in conflict with the Constitution, would be valid.

The government, no matter how misguided, cannot treaty away the superior law of the Constitution. Our Constitution always has the superior claim, is first in line and is always the protector of the People and the sovereign States against the Federal government, regardless of the propaganda coming out of Washington, D.C., Eric Holder, Obama, the United Nations or the spin espoused by socialist professors in California universities.

Perhaps the States should make a Declaration of War for the protection of its Citizens and these states should come together and form a pact. But didn't we do this 1861?

Section 9.Immunities from taxation

(a) The Fund, its assets, property, income and its operations and transactions authorized by this Agreement, shall be immune from all taxation and from all customs duties. The Fund shall also be immune from liability for the collection or payment of any tax or duty.

(b) No tax shall be levied on or in respect of salaries and emoluments paid by the Fund to executive directors, alternates, officers or employees of the Fund who are not local citizens, local subjects, or other local nationals.

(c) No taxation of any kind shall be levied on any obligation or security issued by the Fund, including any dividend or interest thereon, by whomsoever held

(i) which discriminates against such obligation or security solely because of its origin; or

Section 10.Application of Article

Each member shall take such action as is necessary in its own territories for the purpose of making effective in terms of its own law the principles set forth in this Article and shall inform the Fund of the detailed action which it has taken.

Does this not seem in conflict with the Article 1, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution? Since the Constitution solidly states only Congress can coin money and since the Constitution does not provide a method for Congress to abdicate it's authority, even though the people, by their ignorance of their own organic law, have allowed the Federal Reserve to manage their money, does it not seem logical to any informed and reasonable person that this treaty should be in direct conflict with our supreme law and therefore void?

"The rights and liberties which citizens of our country enjoy are not protected by custom and tradition alone; they have been jealously preserved from the encroachments of Government by express provisions of our written Constitution. ...

Does the Constitution allow for anyone to to be above the Law? Would it not be a throw back to the "Divine Right of Kings", if we allowed for the substitution of "the wealthy" or "the global banking community" for "Kings"?

The Governor and Alternate Governor representing the United States within the IMF currently are Timothy F. Geithner and Ben Bernanke. (Insert their names in the Article above and read it out loud. "Member" means "Country".) To question the legality of this is kind of like closing the barn door after the horses have ran out but it is important to demonstrate the magnitude, for those who not aware, of the tentacles of deception running through our government, if it is even "our" government any longer. Perhaps it is just a masquerade being played out to placate the people until all areas have been secured by the Socialistic, global minded enemies of the United States of America.

Since Obama is simply a small part of the over all agenda, and since he did not get here on his own but was either covertly or overtly placed into his position, he has been on the fast track of implementing the policies necessary to bring America down. Only those with tunnel vision, or who are supporting our demise, still think he is a positive force in and for America.

His choices for Czars have included those who relished their association with Communism and Socialism, those who do NOT hold dear the American ideals of Freedom of Speech, the Right to Bear Arms and other uniquely American principles.

His recent pick for the U.S. Supreme Court, Elena Kagan, wrote her college thesis on "To the Final Conflict: Socialism in New York City, 1900–1933", which reveal her admiration for a governmental philosophy diametrically opposed to the freedoms and liberties envisioned by Jefferson, Madison, and Adams. What loyal American, faithfull to the American Revolution, could even think the words "socialism's greatness", much less write them in a thesis?

When these dark days are over, hopefully with the 2012 election, we can only pray that he and his henchmen will be brought up on charges of treason and dwelt with accordingly.

Solidarity for Arizona

Let me be crystal clear: I support Legal Immigration to America.

The operative word here is LEGAL.

All the brouhaha is nothing but a smokescreen to rile up the illegals so they can be used to put pressure on Arizona. It is like giving the Indians "firewater" in the old west days and then get them on a "War Path".

People who are running on pure emotion are much more easily manipulated and can be used to promote an agenda.

Out of the woodwork come the entertainers with their opinions, most against Arizona's new Immigration Law. I am glad they are doing so. Now I can see who to boycott.

On the subject of boycotts, Hispanics and others are threatening to boycott Arizona until they rescind the law. I am urging all supporters of Arizona to visit the Arizona Chamber of Commerce link and then the city Chambers of Commerce and urge you to do as much business over the Internet with Arizona's American owned businesses as you can.

Americans across the nation must come and show solidarity for Arizona. The eyes of the nation, even the world, are watching what is happening here. They are watching to see what Obama will do, what Mexico will do, if there will be a border war ignited over this, or whether there will be a type of Civil War between illegals & their sympathizers and patriotic Americans.

If there was some sort of skirmish, even on a small scale, would it be enough for Obama to declare Martial Law, just in time to freeze November elections in order to avoid a Democratic bloodbath at the polls?

Even Obama knows the pot is simmering and could boil over.

Well, he did this during the campaign with his "57 states" comment so I guess we shouldn't be surprised.

If he would have read the Bill, he would know that this will not be the case. The police have better things to do than stand around and wait for a brown-skinned person to walk into view so they can ask to see his papers. Now if the brown-skinned person was involved in a crime, then, if the police thought the person was illegal, then they would ask. Or maybe during an investigation of MS-13 gang members or theft, assault, rape, drunk driving, and other such crimes.

Already an AZ Deputy was shot and 17 suspected illegals caught while looking for the men who shot him. Are the illegals in this country so ignorant that they cannot see they have brought the wrath of Americans upon themselves with their actions?

Not all Hispanics are against Arizona's attempt to protect its citizens. There is still some common sense left:

The biased media would have you believe that no one in America supports the new law in Arizona, but nothing could be farther from the truth. 64% of Arizona's citizens and 51% of Americans favored the new bill. "In the same survey, 76% of respondents told Rasmussen that it is more important to gain control of the border than it is to legalize the status of undocumented workers."

There is an online petition, "We Stand With Arizona, and Against Illegal Immigration" where you can sign and leave a comment. Most everyone welcomes LEGAL immigrants but they are opposed to this government supported silent invasion of ILLEGAL aliens. Arizona is the Line in the Sand

The illegal immigration issue is nothing new. It has been brewing for decades. Shame on Washington,D.C. and past Arizona governors who stuck their heads in the sand and prayed it would go away or sit on simmer so another administration could deal with the issue. Well, the pot has finally boiled over and I am actually surprised it took so long.

What has happened in Arizona needs to happen with California, New Mexico and Texas.

Back in 2004, a report was issued by FAIR, Federation for American Immigration Reform.

"...the state's already struggling K-12 education system spends approximately $7.7 billion a year to school the children of illegal aliens who now constitute 15 percent of the student body. Another $1.4 billion of the taxpayers' money goes toward providing health care to illegal aliens and their families, the same amount that is spent incarcerating illegal aliens criminals.

"California's addiction to 'cheap' illegal alien labor is bankrupting the state and posing enormous burdens on the state's shrinking middle class tax base," stated Dan Stein, President of FAIR. ..."Illegal Immigration Costs California Over Ten Billion Annually, by Robert Longley

California is an excellent example of what happens when the elected leadership refuses to go along with the voting public. (Are you listening America? Does this sound like the recent Health Care Reform?) Anyone with any sense should get out now.

Dan Stein went on to say, as quoted in that report: "Nineteen ninety-four was the same year that California voters rebelled and overwhelmingly passed Proposition 187, which sought to limit liability for mass illegal immigration. Since then, state and local governments have blatantly ignored the wishes of the voters and continued to shell out publicly financed benefits on illegal aliens," said Stein. "Predictably, the costs of illegal immigration have grown geometrically, while the state has spiraled into a fiscal crisis that has brought it near bankruptcy."

In California Governor Seeks Bail Out Money Too I reported that California was spending $970 million dollars in the CA prison system for Mexican Nationals during 2009.

New Mexico now has the very real possibility of seeing illegals who may have come in through Arizona, now coming in through that state.

Internet blogger Heath Haussamen posted an interesting piece on the views of the candidates concerning Arizona's excellent new law: Guv candidates share views on Arizona immigration law. Almost to the man (no offense ladies), they voice support for the new law, picking their words carefully that NM should do the same or similar. They must realize the citizens of that state want action as well.

In 2003, then Mexican President Vicente Fox asked New Mexico for medical benefits for illegals. Why didn't he also offer to pay for the added cost to the New Mexican citizens and the state's budget?

From the office of the president to the peon who works the land, the Mexican mindset is one of freebies and handouts. Mexico is a socialist nation and they bring their entitlement agenda with them.

I wonder what the stats are today? Every night it seems we hear something about another murder, rape, kidnapping, drug related crime, by illegals on the nightly news or on "America's Most Wanted".

Read the text of a GAO report number GAO-05-646R entitled 'Information on Certain Illegal Aliens Arrested in the United States' which was released on May 9, 2005, that studied population of 55,322 illegal aliens. They found illegals were:

*arrested at least a total of 459,614 times, averaging about 8 arrests per illegal alien.

*About 45 percent of all offenses were drug or immigration offenses.
*About 15 percent were property-related offenses such as burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, and property damage.

*About 12 percent were for violent offenses such as murder, robbery, assault, and sex-related crimes.

*The balance was for such other offenses as traffic violations, including driving under the influence; fraud--including forgery and counterfeiting; weapons violations; and obstruction of justice.

No Truth Allowed Where Obama is Concerned

In that article eleven State Representatives, three former politicians, another columnist and an Il Mayor are quoted with various comments about the never-ending eligibility issue.

The Champaign, Il Mayor Gerald Schweighart, who was attending the West Side Park Tea Party was asked about what he thought of Obama. The Mayor stated he did not think Obama was an American. Hear for yourself his actual words:

In the original Daily Illini.com news article, a county board member was on the record that the Mayor didn't understand the issue since the State of Hawaii has released a copy of the original birth certificate and that the Mayor's comments were "real biased" and "doesn't show much research or in-depth study of the situation."

IF the "copy of the original birth certificate" had been released, then why is Hawaii state Sen. Will Espero planning legislation which will allow for the release of the actual records? Seems a bit extreme for something that has already happened.

A District 1 City Council member shot back with the brilliant statement that Obama has "...been approved by congress". That may have been enough had Congress done it's job in vetting the candidate in 2008. Had ANYONE vetted Obama in 2008! Had Congress taken their duty seriously by looking into the NUMEROUS cases filed in courts across America as to the question of Obama's homeland. However, Congress and the courts did nothing except to bury, sweep under the carpet, ignore and basically fail America.

Why is the news outlet NPR (National Public Radio) engaging in revisionist news reporting?

Here is the WND article where a screenshot clearly shows NPR reported Obama as being Kenyan-born, however if you view the article now, it is simply saying his father was born in Kenya.

Many of you know by now of the case of Lt. Col. Terry Lakin who is "refusing Army orders until Barack Obama documents his eligibility to be commander in chief" (see article referenced below).

In another case where this argument has arisen, the court backed off its threat of sanctions toward the attorney, possibly due to not wanting to reveal the truth in the discovery process. Now why is that? If all is well and in order with Obama's eligibility, why would the court back off?

IT WOULD NOT!

THE CULPRITS

From the outset of this lone twenty year battle to find truth and justice I came up against deliberately created obstacles and delaying tactics placed in my path, mainly by either corrupt government Ministers, ordinary and weak politicians (or would-be politicians), devious bureaucrats and other government agency or quasi-government agency employees out to do their master's bidding; "just following orders" - as Hitler's henchmen whined during the Nuremburg trials at the end of World War II.

The number of times the reasons of 'mislaid files' or 'lost documents' reared their fallacious heads is incalculable. Even Winston Peters' Wellington office had one of my files go missing at one point in the investigation – and he was assisting me to get to the bottom of what has been described to me by a prominent politician as 'a Murray McCully whispering campaign'.* There was also the incident of the office break in.

Our offices in Auckland experienced a burglary one week night. The police established that it must have been children looking for a quick profit on saleable items such as cigarettes, liquor and easily carried electronic gadgets.

As someone with police training the writer is curious to know why the unopened carton of two hundred cigarettes and several bottles of spirits in a wooden wall credenza cupboard with no locks, a small portable television set (upturned on my desk, but otherwise intact), plus several electronic gadgets in office drawers were untouched. The only real inroads that were made were into the locked steel filing cabinets containing confidential documents relating to our clients. The filing cabinets were prised open with a crow-bar or something similar and the papers strewn over the office floor. All this just prior to the general election. Kids..? Yeah, right!

'Abuse of power is tantamount to corruption'.

To name just a few of the administrations involved: the Justice Department; the Department of Internal Affairs and the Inland Revenue Department and the Government itself in creating and then putting into effect the dirty tricks with no holds barred; the objective...to bring down those who have the courage, the determination and, in the eyes of the 'Bullies' as I have labelled them, the fortitude to expose the truth and the shameful behaviour of those involved. These sad individuals are supposedly the guardians of the People within New Zealand – instead their real function is simply to line their nests and then to protect them with every abusive act within their power; 'abuse of power' hardly describes their average day.

The Corruption Chronicles takes the lid off the clandestine political dirty tricks brigade. Their intention is to expose those individuals who work in concert to destroy the lives of fellow politicians and ordinary folk; the strategists who cook up the public relations-inspired whispering campaigns of career and reputation destruction. They may not care who or how they hurt – but it's our function to care and, in turn, to make them care. These writings name names and outline the dirty deeds of the perpetrators and how they go about putting them into effect, all with the express intention of protecting their own 'Power Patch'.

• As this is being written, McCully is the New Zealand Foreign Minister. At one time he was the Minister for Tourism, but he was removed from that job; does anyone remember why? Prior to entering Parliament, he was a lawyer and principal of a major public relations company.

These chronicles were begun in August 2009 and in the six weeks to the middle of September two members of the New Zealand House of Representatives (there are 120 in all) have seen the inside of a courthouse on corruption charges. A third, a Cabinet Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs, was drummed out of his Ministerial post and then forced to resign over a sexual matter in which he is alleged to have sent inappropriate texts and letters to a female.

However, that's another matter with a cloud over it in more ways than one.

Could it be that the Hon. Dr. Richard Worth, former Minister of Internal Affairs was the victim of yet another political dirty trick?

Did someone want him off the political scene too; and if so, for what reasons? Ironical really when we consider that the author of these Corruption Chronicles was himself the victim of a similar whispering campaign, in all probability, created by a man who is now a Cabinet Minister, and put into effect by a top civil servant within the Department of Internal Affairs.

The same man who later boasted in an inter-departmental memo to his bosses that he had "succeeded in bringing about the downfall" of the politician they feared; due, perhaps, to his popularity and effectiveness?

This Government man, through his dishonesty and connivance, destroyed not only Gary Knapp's reputation but mine too, together with my family home, my business, health and almost broke up my marriage of twenty one years (to 1990). Could it be that the shadowy figures behind oak doors had a good reason for removing Internal Affairs Minister Worth in 2009? Ironical that, although not apparently connected, it should involve the very same Ministry - 19 years later. Ask the deposed Gary Knapp or the former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Winston Peters what they believe is really the truth about these all-too-similar political coups and you will, in all probability, have your eyes opened wide. The destruction of these two men's political careers takes on such similar form that it is unlikely to be mere coincidence: and the same whispering campaigner is still skulking in the shadows.

I couldn't believe what was happening to me back in 1989 when the affair broke in the media. At first it had the appearance of a storm in a tea cup with the media reacting like a coiled spring by launching into a feeding frenzy and cashing in on Gary Knapp's name and charisma. Each time it seemed to be abating, again a release of statements from the Department of Internal Affairs fanned the flames of destruction for Knapp.

Essentially how the majority of the newspapers and the alleged 'reasonable treatment', open-minded, impartial television programme Fair Go handled the issue would leave any journalist worthy of the name reeling. The following anecdote would be a perfect example of the standard and skill of the professional style used.

'A Harley biker is riding past the zoo in Auckland when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the collar of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents. The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.

Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly. A reporter from a prominent New Zealand newspaper has watched the whole event. The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, 'Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I've seen a man do in my whole life.'

The Harley rider replies, 'Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger and acted as I felt right.' The reporter says, 'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist, you know, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page... So, what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do you have?' The biker replies, 'I'm an SAS member and a New Zealand First Party supporter.' The journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker buys the paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads, on the front page:

'SAS MAN ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH'..!

Which pretty much sums up one section of the media's approach to news these days.

It also sums up the approach by the mainstream media over the Knapp and Roberson affair. They got it wrong...very wrong. As did former Labour Prime Minister Mike Moore who, a few years later, apologised to me once I had explained the truth to him. He had previously openly criticised Knapp in Parliament but, as he later admitted, "Mike I'm so sorry, I did bad mouth Garry in the House - I didn't have the facts then".

Moore asked me to convey his apologies to Gary Knapp. He told me that much of his opinion of Knapp was "based on what I had seen and read in the media". I thanked Mr. Moore saying that I would indeed pass on his comments, adding that it was a pity he hadn't come forward a few years earlier, it might have saved Knapp's political career and my reputation.

Mark Twain said "Get the facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please".

The problem here was that few, if any, within the mainstream media actually got the facts. I'm personally still waiting (19 years later) for Anna Kenna, then a prominent television broadcaster with the 'Fair Go' programme team, to visit me to view the files I promised would be open to her when she came past my house that day on her way north to speak to the one and only alleged complainant about the Knapp-Roberson Community Project consultancy Garry and I ran together. Her phone call to me earlier in the day was to ask me questions regarding our cost structure used in fund-raising projects. She asked if she could call in to our offices to interview me. I readily agreed and guaranteed that our records would be wide open to any scrutiny. Simple, I knew full well that everything would be found to be squeaky clean and not riddled with overcharging as was being alleged by some anonymous claimant!

I never saw Kenna, nor anyone from Fair Go that day, or since.

But the producers did manage to air a one-sided programme that same week after having interviewed the 'complainant' – in reality it was the patsy set up to make Knapp look as though he was ripping off charities. This was not the case, I was the one dealing with and handling all the money that went through the business while Knapp was in Parliament in Wellington – so I knew how everything was done...because I was the one handling this side of the business. I signed the cheques in conjunction with an independently nominated officer from each charitable organisation. So much for an unbiased Fourth Estate.

In addition, the government department charged with the responsibility of overseeing projects in which our consultancy engaged examined each and every event and project we undertook. So, the question remains 'how could we overcharge without it being noticed by the Department of Internal Affairs'? To that point in time (1988) I and my associates had organised something in the region of sixty projects.

Each one of these projects had to be vetted by the watchdog Internal Affairs prior to the event getting 'on the road' as a fund raising project. At the completion of each all details of the event, including separate audit carried out by an approved chartered accountant, were required to be handed in to Internal Affairs within one month of the date of the event.

In addition, and as if these requirements weren't enough, our consultancy was required to provide New Zealand Internal Affairs with an annual audit encompassing ALL the projects undertaken throughout the year. From this it can be clearly seen that each project undertaken by the partnership was vetted not once but TWICE by watchdog Internal Affairs. No exceptions were ever found by I.A. over a five year period.

[It is interesting to note here that when, under the New Zealand Official Information Act, I requested that Internal Affairs provide me with copies of those annual audits their answer was...an apology - but they couldn't find them!

Five years of audited documents had strangely disappeared with no explanation from the one government department charged with policing and safeguarding the Public Interest. Could it be, perhaps, that the very documents I was seeking might have provided the evidence that my commercial activities were, in reality, squeaky clean? I'll leave you to judge.]

P.S. These Corruption Chronicles are based on 56 kilograms of documents and correspondence obtained under the New Zealand Official Information Act.

My wife Jill and I handled the main business trust account together – from 1984 to 1990 there would have been anything from $100,000 to $1,000.000 dollars in the account during any one month. Back in the 'eighties these were considered fairly substantial sums. This was in addition to separate trust accounts that had been set up by each of our clients with their bank prior to the project. This was a requirement of ours from the outset of the partnership in 1984, the object being that all financial transactions should be clearly visible and all details made available to our client.

So you see each organisation and its chief office-holders were signatories to the bank account; thus they were in control of the financial operation all the way through. There was absolutely no chance of taking anything greater than the agreed consultancy fee. The whole media issue was a storm in a tea cup fabricated to make Gary Knapp the politician look bad through his commercial business – actually run by me and my wife while Gary was in Parliament. Gary's former wife, Lee also assisted to keep an eye on things in her husband's absence.

The media have a lot to answer for in this episode because they saw Gary Knapp as a charismatic target to sell their wares. – newspapers and advertising air-time. The only two publications that printed anything resembling the truth were 'Investigate' magazine, published by Ian Wishart, and the Auckland Sunday News. To each I shall be eternally grateful.

Wishart constantly receives criticism from certain quarters for some of the stories appearing in his publication. But then, when we analyse which of his publication's articles get the most mud thrown at them, we discover that the subject matter is invariably the questionable behaviour of THOSE IN POWER. And the criticism mostly comes from THOSE IN POWER...Funny that!

It has been noticeable that those flinging the mud tend to be either the New Zealand Establishment, media competitors or individual writers envious of the magazine's success. Success possibly due to the fact that Investigate publishes the facts – about topics that some would rather see covered up.

Staff writer Simon Jones from Investigate spent a day with me going over the files and documents and then checking the facts against publicly held records; I believe he obtained documents and correspondence under the Official Information Act. However the article in Investigate was not published until June 2000 – five years after the event that shattered our lives and far too late to have any real beneficial effect.

The Auckland Sunday News' feature writer, Greg Ninness also wrote a couple of articles that conveyed a large proportion of the real facts to the People of New Zealand. These two articles were in the October and November 1994 issues of Sunday News – but still four years after the event with not too many people interested now that Gary Knapp had left the political stage. Less interested that his unknown business partner had experienced the destruction of nearly everything he had worked for during the previous thirty years. The political monster had lashed its tail, crushing all before it – even the innocents; my family was severely and undeservingly caught in the backlash.

What Sunday News' Ninness uncovered in connection with the 'Secret Report' and how it found its way into a District Court judge's chambers, through the Official Information Act and also, as a good investigative journo should, by foot-slogging the pavements and personally digging into things, was astounding.

When Ninness interviewed the Auckland District Court's Senior Deputy Registrar, Judith Simpson she told him: "A Court official had acted without legal authority". "We accept that we called for a report where there was no specific authority for us to do so. "

When asked how such a thing could have happened she stated: "I cannot account for it. The officer concerned (a Deputy Registrar of the Court) can't remember and we're not in a position to make a final conclusion on it".

We have to help each other to defend against abuse in the system; vulnerable people are being rendered without remedy and rights!

You will have to draw your own conclusions on the matter of the Secret Report and how it found its way quietly under the judge's black robes. However, to assist let me ask this: Why would a Court Registrar in Auckland call the Secretary of Internal Affairs in Wellington (New Zealand's capital and seat of government) and request a report on two businessmen he didn't know and couldn't possibly have had any personal interest in, and for no apparent reason?

We can only conjecture that 'someone' in Wellington made a 'first' phone call to 'someone' at the Court in Auckland and directed them to 'request' that a report on the two business partners and their commercial operation be created by Wellington and then sent to the Court in Auckland.

All somewhat convoluted I admit – and all very Machiavellian I agree – several people, including two lawyers came up (independently) with this possible scenario. It is likely that we will never know the real story. It is true to say, though, that it required the collusion of a Black Robed Devil to make it work.

It is just a shame that the New Zealand media didn't do a better job of seeking out the truth and reporting it to the People of New Zealand at the time. In my opinion it would have made a much better story – it still would.

However, I don't blame the media totally for their transgressions because the inflammatory information was originally fed to them by a member of the Department of Internal Affairs. How were they to know that it was a tissue of lies? Secretary Richard Stubbings, the man who wrote the lying report that was covertly handed in by his messenger to Ross Malcolm Elliott, a District Court Judge (now deceased) in Auckland is where the finger must be pointed.

Judge Elliott himself turned out to be a piece of work, as these Chronicles will later reveal. Twice in Court on charges of sexually interfering with children, two juries couldn't agree. Corruption inside the New Zealand Establishment and judiciary...who ever heard of such a thing?

Stubbings abused his authority when he made unauthorised, unlawful statements to the press gallery in Parliament (I have this on reliable authority directly from a member of the Parliamentary Press Gallery) and through Stubbings' media contacts nationally, knowing them to be false. I am advised that this act alone would be viewed very seriously by a judge as malfeasance.

Internal Affairs Secretary Stubbings' agenda was, very simply, to fan the flames under Knapp's butt with the Secret Report just prior to a general election.

Stubbings' objective, led by the nose it is believed, by his bosses - including the National party's machinating strategist lawyer Murry McCully. There are others too who we'll identify later.

McCully was wary that the East Coast Bays seat, previously held by Gary Knapp, could easily slip out of his own grasp and back into Knapp's lap. McCully's function was to come up with a dirty trick that would be likely to cause Knapp to lose votes in an electorate where he had won twice – the second time in a landslide against former Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, Don Brash.

(Oh yes, Knapp had upset some top Establishment grandees by demonstrating his popularity with the People of New Zealand).

The Nats (National Party) wanted the East Coast Bays electorate and would stop at nothing to hang onto it. After all, wasn't it Knapp who had snatched it from the National party after a very long tenure. Brash was a dismal failure - as he was as National Party Leader some years later - and so something had to be done to keep Knapp out at the next election. Thus was born the idea of a report on Knapp's commercial activities that had to contain damaging stuff. The Secret Report, covertly slipped into the file for the judge to see before the hearing set annually to renew the pairs' licence to function.

Both the Nats and Labour were becoming frustrated by this man who, it appeared, was too strong to be pushed by fair means at the polling booth.

It was Dr. Thomas Sowell, author and senior fellow at the Hoover Institute who said about government, “It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong”.

When my former business partner and I appeared at a hearing in the Auckland District Court to answer spurious 'complaints' over the way we conducted our community projects consultancy, and an alleged breach of a Gaming regulation, even our legal advisers commented that the worst we could expect was a slap on the wrists for being ignorant of a small regulation of which even the Department of Internal Affairs wasn't aware! No business I've ever been actively involved with has ever been guilty of anything other than straight up and down dealing. I'm not a great liar – I don't have a good enough memory.

What we didn't know at the time was that not only had the 'complaints' been a set up to create an impression of 'bad business activities' (I never did establish, nor have I to this day, what the alleged complaints were supposed to be over, nor who it was who was supposed to have lodged them) but, unknown to me a secret document had also been passed to the judge in a covert file – without my knowledge or that of my business partner or, indeed, of our legal adviser.

We knew nothing of this document, later described as the 'Secret Report', until more than two years after the judge had deemed Gary and I 'not fit and proper persons to hold a licence'. [Our main business activity as a community projects consultancy was to raise funds for charitable trusts, schools, guiding and scouting organisations].

The whole affair was finally shown in a (second) Appeal Court hearing to be a total frame-up of the two business partners, using covertly created documents filled with lies and quietly handed to a judge – all to get one of partners out of the New Zealand Parliament and out of their hair. It obviously doesn't pay to be an honest politician.

Part two of the Corruption Chronicles will reveal a great deal more about the lives, habits and behaviour of some of New Zealand's most prominent and shadowy figures, some still floating the corridors of influence. One thing is certain however, the writer of these chronicled events, having experienced at first hand the viciousness of the talons wielded by those who would hold on to power at any price, is in no way prepared to do anything but see this issue through to the bitter end.

THE IRD - ITS GREAT LIE(S)

As I write this the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department are conducting an audit on me and my family, suggesting that we have made thousands in profit on properties bought and sold by our Trust*.

This audit has been running now for over three years. We know that we haven't made a profit from property transactions, and we've told them so in very clear terms. Our accountant tells us that he believes the IR Trolls think they have sniffed out a likely pot of gold to raid - that we've probably made a healthy profit. No profit has resulted mainly due to the fact that we have been badly affected by the economic downturn. The idea that, as a family, we might be able to claw our way back to a reasonable standard of living, having lost just about everything due to the government's dirty tricks, was a short-lived one when the bottom dropped out of the New Zealand property market. We had hoped to accrue a couple of residential properties as a hedge against the future - as an investment for our children.

The IRD wouldn't have this answer – they determined that we were, once again, an easy mark and targeted the Francis-Robersons, most likely because we had stood up for ourselves against their bullying in the past. I happen not to be either paranoid or to subscribe to conspiracy 'theories'. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that the most recent investigation of my affairs may have something to do with my having historically upset some of those grandees in high places by facing up to them.

In the late 90s I had a running paperwork and 'interview' battle with the IRD for a period of more than four years because they maintained that more thousands in Goods and Service Taxes (GST) plus added interest (allegedly payable by our former business partner, nothing to do with us personally) was owed to the IRD.

In addition to this they were claiming, based on assessment, that I owed back taxes of $15,000 plus tax (interest)!

But wait, that's not all - on top of this they now came after me personally for (allegedly) unpaid GST amounting to over $10,000 and dating back to 1989. This began with a figure of $1,401.56 with additional tax added and rising to $10,899.62 by 1995. Again I attempted to explain to them that there had been an error on their part. The total being claimed by New Zealand's beloved secret ops organisation had by this time run into more than $27,500, with interest mounting each day. I continued to battle them with facts on paper thinking that this lot would never go away. Agreed that these are not enormous sums of money we're talking here. What we have to remember though is that the government actions of earlier years had rendered me virtually broke – and, of course, they were well aware of this. Their subsequent moves were calculated to make my life and that of my family a living hell.

I'm not too naive to reject the possibility that this stream of harassment by the IR nasties might possibly be connected with the fact that I dared to question their claims against me. Also that the earlier media propaganda (promoted by Internal Affairs) had conditioned many people (IRD no exception) into believing that Mike Francis-Roberson was a criminal – a persona non grata. They were consistently inconsistent, trying to give me the runaround by regularly sending me correspondence signed by different individuals from different internal departments.

I guess their objective was to confuse me; however, it didn't work because I insisted on writing back to the single individual and department first heard from. I wasn't prepared to play that game! Smoke and mirrors doesn't work if you're in the right and you hold to your belief. This nonsense from IRD went on for more than three and a half years.

However, in October 1995, and totally out of the blue, I received a five page statement of account from the IRD. At first I couldn't understand the picture it was painting for me. I should mention here that I was still suffering from M.E. (myalgic encephalomyelitis – Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) contracted in August 1990. I had been unable to work for several years except for a sitting down radio broadcasting job with the local radio station (near Auckland). Before that, from 1991, I had been on income support; I couldn't get sickness benefit because Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) would not recognise that chronic fatigue syndrome was an illness. The fact that I was so weak that I couldn't even stand or walk and could hardly eat cut no ice with WINZ. They had their rules and their guidelines and they were sticking to them.

Not being a trained accountant I struggled to understand what the five pages from our beloved IRD torturers were trying to tell me. After a little study I finally realised that they showed how, since July 1989 and with 'additional tax', the alleged GST debt of $1,400 had built to almost $11,000 in six monthly increments. I thought: "so why are they telling me all this – are the simply rubbing it in"?

But wait, there was more...thumbing slowly through the five pages I realised that the figures from May 1995 suddenly changed dramatically about halfway through. Reading carefully I spotted the words 'Default Assessment Reversal' and 'Additional Tax Reversal'!

I could hardly believe my eyes as I followed the now decreasing figures to the foot of the last page until I reached the magic number - $.00. There was no covering letter to explain how or why, after more than three years, they had finally arrived at a zero debt in my favour. If they care to do this now I would be interested to hear the reasoning applied.

I had been battling them for more than 1,344 days since 1991 attempting in my layman and somewhat ignorant way to convince them they were wrong. Their eventual but reluctant response appeared to be like a naughty schoolboy thrusting a 'sorry' note into a parent's hand, at the same time looking the other way and shuffling off in the opposite direction. Very sad and, in my opinion – CORRUPT - just one example of a Great Lie.

Less than a year later, in September 1996, the IRD proceeded to illegally bankrupt me and my wife. How did they manage this? Easy, they committed perjury in their affidavit to the Court. The department proceeded to do this in spite of the fact that we owned half a residential property that was valued at five times the alleged debt claimed. We offered to liquidate the asset and settle their claim, at least temporarily until we could show them the real truth of their assessment and that it was in error, rather than endure their continued pursuit of us into the bankruptcy court.

The Inland Revenue Department refused the offer. 'Why?' I hear you ask. A very good question...I can only guess that they were determined to get me – one way or another; ask David Henderson how that works. Henderson also fought IRD for four years after it rejected his claim for a $65,000 refund. Instead, it gave him a $1 million bill.

His book, 'Be Very Afraid', was published in 1999. The film, 'We're Here to Help', was released in 2008. David fell foul of the New Zealand IRD over their claims and his denials of a million dollars allegedly owed to them.

Because he also dared to argue the point and refused to pay them monies he maintained he did not owe them, in precisely the same way I have, they were all over him like a rash too. You can check out Mr. Henderson's experiences on the internet. It seems that once the IRD sets its sights on you and gets its hooks in it holds tight and keeps coming back at you.

I guess they'll do the same to me after these chronicles are published. And, if they don't (or can't because I'm dead) they'll probably readjust their aim at my family. That's the way they function and it's the main reason most people don't dare argue with them. Well, I didn't tolerate bullies at school and, now that I'm in the Big World nothing's changed!

The Bully Syndrome is also one of the reasons judges make many of the decisions they do in favour of the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department's often inefficient, error-filled and bullying claims. Be very afraid...you connect the dots. But just remember one important fact; anger is a stronger emotion than fear. Having said that, I propose not to get angry – just even.

There are numerous cases involving harassment by the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department.

MP Rodney Hide's book 'The Power to Destroy' in which he detailed cases of persecution by the Inland Revenue Department includes the tragic case of Ian Mutton, a small businessman who broke his ankle in a work-related accident - which ACC originally refused to cover – causing him to get behind in the payment of tax. Instead of working with Ian and his wife Bronwyn, the IRD applied harsh penalty rates and the couple faced ruin. Unable to cope, Ian took his life and tragically, seven months later, his 13 year old son Trevor followed suit.

Christchurch businessman Dave Henderson, in his book 'Be Very Afraid: One Man’s Stand Against the IRD' outlines his nightmare battle with the IRD, which fabricated a $1 million debt against him. Dave’s four-year-long campaign eventually resulted in the false assessment being reversed in favour of a $65,000 refund. The book is now being turned into a film which Dave hopes will encourage more people to stand up against state stupidity and aggression.

Henderson also then proceeded to buy the building the New Zealand Inland Revenue occupied; this effectively made him their landlord. The New Zealand IRD recently had to clear out of David Henderson's building – their lease ran out!

THE CORRUPTION WAR CONTINUES

In the same way as I was concurrently battling IRD, but over a considerably longer period of time, I've been asking each and every government administration since 1994 for an independent public inquiry into the actions of the Department of Internal Affairs, the Justice Department, the Inland Revenue Department and others. At one stage I even sent a formal complaint to the United Nations.

Each and every one of the individuals involved in this affair in these government departments or agencies is guilty at least of malfeasance* – this is abuse of power (authority) and, where malfeasance can be shown, is punishable in New Zealand by a term of imprisonment. The Corruption Chronicles show the many instances of shameful abuse of authority. Instances which, in the absence of someone prepared to stand up to them, go unchallenged and unpunished.

I compiled the Corruption Chronicles slowly and steadfastly as a direct result of my determined battle over twenty years to obtain truth and justice in a country where many in the Justice department don't even know the true meaning of the word – particularly where politics and advancement through the ranks of their own particular field of endeavour is involved. But then, that isn't surprising when we consider the way in which New Zealand is emulating the United States of America's downward slide into sleazy judicial and general standards together with the breakup of the values of the family unit.

But that's another matter...my experiences have to be shared, if only to warn others. This publication deals directly with the Establishment's worst side, the underbelly of New Zealand's seamy political corridors of power and the sycophantic, apple polishing gastropods who frequent the chambers of its badly-named 'justice' system.

It is the Public Servants who are the real architects and sculptors of Policy in this and every western-influenced governing Administration.

The shady offices of the devious bureaucrats and the treachery-charged corridors of power trodden by members of the New Zealand House of Representatives have a lot to answer for in terms of human suffering. New Zealand's Green image, marketed by those who have the task of bolstering the flagging reputation of a once healthy life-styled country, is a slightly false one in need of the specialist propaganda pumped out by the tourism sales people; to match the effluent and chemicals pumped into its streams and waterways by the industrialists and careless agriculturalists. New Zealand has as many problems in the area of pollution as any other country. Industrial and agricultural influences are largely at the root of these difficulties. The problem is compounded by successive pussy-footing governments frightened of losing votes.

But let us not lose sight of what these Chronicles are all about. It must be made clear that a seriously damaging and covert document was created by the Secretary of Internal Affairs. It was damaging in the first place to Gary Thomas Knapp, former Member of Parliament for the East Coast Bays electorate on Auckland's North Shore. **

Knapp lost his seat in Parliament (House of Representatives) as a direct result of the outrageous lies concocted by those in power who would see him ousted. He represented too much of a threat to their own positions should he be permitted to stay in politics. His influence as an independent politician, coupled with his film star good looks and charisma were far too dangerous to both major parties.

There was also the added factor that at the time of their strategically timed rumour-mongering (just prior to a general election) Knapp's party, with only two seats in the House, actually held the balance of power in government. This did much to encourage his opponents to invoke the devious machinations of their chief strategists in a bid to lose him votes.

The Democrats (formerly Social Credit) was the strongest of the minor parties, coming second in five electorates. Two electorates, East Coast Bays and Pakuranga, were held by the Democrats prior to the election, but were narrowly lost to National candidates.

** Gary Knapp was a New Zealand politician of the Social Credit Party. He became Member of Parliament for East Coast Bays in 1980 when he defeated National candidate Don Brash in the 1980 by-election in East Coast Bays caused by the resignation of the sitting National MP. Knapp joined Bruce Beetham in parliament, where they both had high profiles. In the 1984 election, while Beetham lost his Rangitikei seat to a National Party challenger, Knapp retained East Coast Bays, and another Social Credit candidate, Neil Morrison, won Pakuranga. But in the 1987 election Knapp and Morrison were both defeated by National candidates, see Social Credit Party (New Zealand).

Not only were the outrageous allegations of costs overcharging harmful to Knapp's political position, they were also damaging to the commercial entity he and his business partner had set up in 1984. However, to appreciate the full effect of the trick being played on Knapp and his partner, we must reverse the order of damage. Although ostensibly the Internal Affairs-produced document was made to look as though it was aimed at criticising Knapp's business, the contents were designed to do maximum damage to Knapp himself and his reputation as a parliamentarian and to keep him out of politics – permanently.

The year was 1989...less than a year before the next election that could see Knapp returned to Parliament. For his political opponents to be certain of successfully ousting him timing was of the essence now. Knapp was very good at campaigning, as he had proved on several previous occasions. It was in September of that year (1989) that the fallacious Secret Report was manufactured. The Dirty Tricksters were aware that Knapp's business channeled a great deal of cash through its trust account. In addition they knew that his licence to operate would be due for rubber stamp renewal in March of the following year – general election year. What better weapon than to start rumours that he was fiddling with charitable money?

But we'll examine this topic in more depth later.
Suffice to say that it was the New Zealand Internal Affairs Department's most senior administrator Richard Stubbings who structured the lies and non-facts in a report on Knapp and me that was so destructive to reputations and lives; you'll see the inter-departmental memos gloating over the fact.

But, what of the sometime unwholesome Government Offices and their furtive occupants?

THE PARTY LINE – WHAT IT REALLY REPRESENTS

Of course, the Establishment 'shadowy servants' don't see themselves in this (half) light. Their own image of themselves is of knights in gleaming armour riding white chargers through the injustices of a Commoners world. Many of them would describe their presence in parliament as being 'For the Good of the People'.

The claim is often heard, "I came into politics to help people and to change things for the better". Well, no doubt there are those, possibly even the majority, who entered the political arena to 'make things better'. The problem starts after that and principally with first sight of what is commonly known as the Party Line; some refer to it as the Pigs' Trough, where the snouts become well and truly embedded.

Virtually anyone can become a member of parliament, but some of those who stay have invariably compromised the principles they may have possessed at the outset. Why? Because unless they toe the Party Line they must be considered renegades. The Establishment grandees can't tolerate a loose cannon – i.e. one who thinks for her/himself. When one is detected in the House, out creep the thought police (bureaucrats) or rather, their lackeys the parliamentary Whips, and whack them back into line. Why do you think they carry the name 'whip'?

The Two Party system of government allows for one thing as far as the individual politician is concerned; you can say what you wish...as long as it falls in line with Party Policy.- that's toeing the Party Line. Where both Parties in the New Zealand House of Representatives were stymied as far as Gary Knapp went was they had no control over him. As one of only two members of his Party in Parliament Gary Knapp was getting things done; despite strong opposition from Establishment quarters he was instrumental in having the Auckland Harbour bridge vehicle tolls removed, siting that the levy, originally imposed to pay for the construction of the bridge, should be removed due to the fact that the bridge had been paid for years before!

Old Chinese proverb says:‘Man saying “it cannot be done” should move out of way of man doing it'.

With his persuasive ways and obvious charisma Mr. Knapp tended to make a very dangerous political adversary. Those with long service in the House could easily see this, and so it was decided that Gary had to go!

These true facts in connection with a good politician and a successful businessman and the way the political/bureaucratic Establishment grandees treated them may not surprise you. After all, when we look around at the most prominent stories currently running the globe, we cannot help but notice that they invariably have as their subject matter...

In politics, if it isn't a member of the civil service snooping into areas they have no business snooping, or releasing information they have no right to release then it's a politician taking advantage of his position and ripping off some poor but trusting islander.

It is either overspending on personal expenses, cooking the books (as so many sales representatives have been caught out doing over countless years), or claiming exorbitant rents on their properties at the taxpayer's expense. In addition to all this we find them misrepresenting themselves, or fiddling the votes during an election – or both.

Of course, they would have it that it is the poor hard-done-by politicians and their civil service bosses who are really the ones at the base of the pile...not you and I;
(Yeah, Right)!

They give the impression that they are holier than thou... but, when it comes to the crunch, they are not only NO BETTER...they are a damn sight worse.

In these Corruption Chronicles...
you will see words like 'spies' and 'spying', 'blackmail', 'arrest threats', 'intimidation', 'malfeasance', even 'death threats'. They are placed there, not to dramatise, but to describe accurately the manner in which this pitched but one-sided battle was fought – for battle it truly has been – between the forces of Light and Dark.

Then there's the question of 'who hanged the Family pet'?

One of the disgusting events was that of my wife arriving home one day to find her beloved and devoted Hunterway dog hanging from the rear patio. This is only one example of some of the unpleasant, even terrifying experiences, the whole family were forced to go through at varying times throughout the years that this whole affair dragged on – all because a few politicians got together and decided that one of their colleagues had to go.

The following writings are the result of a long, exasperating, sometimes dangerous and, thus far, fruitless attempt by one man to obtain justice in New Zealand. You would think that butter wouldn't melt in the mouths of the country that produces this consumable in large quantities...you'd be wrong; New Zealand has, per capita, as many corrupt officials in virtually every department of central and local government as any country you care to name.

The story that unfolds and the picture painted by the following documents is one of self-serving, greedy and corrupt politicians, civil servants...and others who like to jump on the bandwagon - just because they can.

The question today is not "Who in government is corrupt"?
But, "How many ARE NOT"?

These Chronicles are written by the man who experienced the affair first hand. A man who originally was only a political observer but who later became involved in setting up a political party of his own in an effort to become a political animal and get to close quarter grips with those who destroyed him as a businessman, his reputation, his health and almost his marriage.

The information contained in these chronicles is factual and based on personal and very costly experience. Costly from just about every aspect – loss of reputation, health, loss of the family home, assets, livelihood and general financial losses in the fields of the business activity engaged in by two men and their families, not only in New Zealand but overseas in Australia and the United Kingdom.

They were involved as victims in one of the most shameful examples of character assassination of a politician by politicians for political purposes ever seen in New Zealand. Former New Zealand Prime Minister Rob Muldoon would have been proud of this lot...but then, 'Piggy' Muldoon would have been proud of any dirty trick played against an opponent.

Corruption is not confined to the African nations alone; nor is it the prerogative of the Russias, the United States, Uganda, Japan, Australia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan or the United Kingdom. It was published recently that New Zealand has the highest number of lawyers per head of population; by the same benchmarks it also has the highest number of corrupt individuals – many of them have power over you to some degree. It is also interesting to note that a large proportion of New Zealand (and World) politicians are former lawyers.

Of a country with barely four and a half million people in total, that's an unbelievable statistic. But it's an accurate one, and one of which the average Kiwi should bow her/his head in shame. Not because it is a fact, but for permitting it to have become a fact.

Anyone from any walk of life and at any time could find themselves the victim of the type of behaviour dished out to the New Zealand member of the House of Representatives and his businessman partner by people 'in power'. Many individuals inside the Civil Service nowadays have a reputation for being neither 'civil' nor providing anything that could reasonably be described as a 'service'.

Far from it - the bureaucratic system in New Zealand is constructed in such a way as to emulate other western countries; essentially it is one of control.

Control, not only of the People but, more surprisingly perhaps, control of the government. We have been conditioned to believe that it's the politicians who call the shots but, in the final event, this not the case.

When we come to learn of the true structure of the Establishment and just how it has been carefully constructed through the centuries it is suddenly revealed to us how we arrived at this point; but more of this further into the corruption chronicles.

If you are concerned to avoid the pitfalls encountered by the author of these chronicles, then this read is a must. It will take you through the various stages of a political Dirty Trick set up by scheming politicians to knock down a particularly charismatic and intelligent opponent politician (independent of course, no Party line to toe) and how it altered the lives of more than just one individual; in this case it changed the course of history for two families. Much of what is detailed here is difficult for the average person to comprehend. That it could have happened at all is almost beyond belief – but it did, and it could happen to anyone...it could happen to you.

In one letter written to former Labour Prime Minister Helen Clark, Mike Francis-Roberson wrote..."For the past several years for me and my family it has been like being a part of a nightmare. I have gone to sleep at night to experience nightmare-like dreams, and I have awoken to realise that it was not all a bad dream, I was indeed waking to a living nightmare". If you can imagine how that feels you will understand the dreadful feeling of despair that it invokes.

The Corruption Chronicles take the form of explicit letters, memoranda and other written works dating from 1988, all hung together with the words of the man who experienced the whole life-changing episode from beginning to the present. Although the story really begins in 1984 when the two main protagonists, a prominent sitting Member of Parliament in New Zealand and a successful businessman first met.

Beginning with a flourishing commercial relationship between the two the saga moves with ever-impelling menace to the point where both are betrayed by the New Zealand political, and justice systems. Secret papers, lost files, mislaid documents, threats, fraud, extortion and coercion – and that's only on the government's side.

BLOWING THE WHISTLE ON THE REAL CRIMINALS

This is not a joke...
The label 'conspiracy theory' is commonly used to try to discredit criticism of the powerful in government or business.

After Britain's former Prime Minister Tony Blair was confronted by the Iraq Inquiry recently (2010) with evidence that he had used lies to sell the Iraq war - Blair dismissed the entire Iraq inquiry as simply being part of Britain's "obsession with conspiracy theories" (his description).

What few people know is that since 2007 Tony Blair has waged an extraordinary two-year battle to keep secret a lucrative deal with a multi-national oil giant which has extensive interests in Iraq.

The former British Prime Minister tried to keep the public in the dark over his dealings with South Korean oil firm UI Energy Corporation. Mr Blair - who has made at least £20 million (pounds sterling) since leaving Downing Street in June 2007 - also went to great efforts to keep hidden a £1 million deal advising the ruling royal family in Iraq's neighbour Kuwait. Are we now, after this additional exposure of blatant and damning corruption on the part of the former Prime Minister of Great Britain, to accept that Mr. Blair is actually capable of even recognising what a conspiracy theory looks like? Perhaps 'smells' would be a more appropriate word to use in the circumstances. Conspiracy Theory? Could it possibly be more accurately described as...Conspiracy Fact?

TRUTH OR DARE (TO TELL IT)?

The story about to unfold could be considered unbelievable; not only from the point of view that it has the appearance of a fictional, almost James Bond-like storyline, but also because the average reader finds it difficult to believe that governments would tell them a Big Lie.

The point is, this is a true story from start to finish, and it is likely to shock you to the core because right now you don't believe that your Government would dare to do the things or tell you the lies you'll learn about in these pages – but then, perhaps I do you an injustice...maybe you would believe! However you receive this you'd better believe that what happened to the players in this drama could just as easily happen to you.

It is generally understood by most people that white lies are told every day by just about everyone; little fibs to kids, spouses, friends, work colleagues and so on – the list of lies is almost endless, as are the reasons for them. But when it comes to the Big Lie, something really serious, even earth-shattering involving for example the murder of another human being and then using Big Lies to cover it up...most of us wouldn't do it.

Because this is our nature we find it difficult to believe that others will tell us a big untruth; in particular our Government, who many of us see as 'Mummy' and there to look after us, protect us and keep us from 'terrorists'!

And if you believe that, you'll believe just about anything.

However, this belief doesn't necessarily make you clinically insane -- or even stupid. The truth is, human nature makes us believe things, especially things we want (or, worse, need) to be true.

These chronicles deal with an affair over which the New Zealand Establishment should hang its head in shame – from Cabinet Ministers down through judges, Justice Department officials, Internal Affairs departmental heads and their lackeys, and the furtive geheimestaatspolizei-types at the Inland Revenue department (IRD, the New Zealand equivalent of America's IRS) whose people will stop at nothing, including perjury, in order to work their devious ways or to get a judgment in their favour. If this statement wasn't fact the New Zealand IRD would be sure to come after me with a libel suit and probably even more harassment than we've experienced to now; and believe me, they know too well how to do that. They won't, because I can prove every word of what is written here; the proof lies in their own sworn affidavit to a bankruptcy court hearing. Of course, as many of us know, they will be more likely to come after me with yet another dirty set of tricks and harassment. So, how do they operate? This is my experience of them to date.

Is it Harry Reid?

He is certainly out of touch with the American majority. I want to see these notes and I want to hear the "thank you" remarks he claims in the video. Where are the people making these statements? Are they fellow Socialists? Maybe, I don't know but I will bet a dollar to a donut these were not working class Americans. In fact, I'll go a step further and state that I don't believe anyone is saying this or sending him these notes at all. Pure fiction in the mind of an old man whose political career is withering before his eyes.

According to a Rasmussen poll, Reid is spiraling down. How was it put in "Top Gun"..crash and burn!

One could make the argument that moving known terrorist from a protected environment on to American soil, so they can have the same rights as American citizens, constitutes "aiding and giving giving comfort" to our sworn enemies and at the same time putting innocent Americans at high risk of being harmed. He has thrown the Constitution aside as though it were nothing more than toilet paper he wiped his rear with. He rejects the concerns of We, The People of the United States, who have demanded over 200 times to see proof of his eligibility to hold office. Proof which Obama had sealed so no one could view it.

It was just a short time ago he made campaign promises of a "transparent government". That seems laughable now as he is the most secretive person to sit in the Oval Office. I will not call him "President" because I do not believe he has the right to lay claim to that office.

He, through his fellow Socialist-in-arms, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, have attempted to force the Socialistic Obama-care down our throats, whether we like it or not. He does NOT represent We, The People but he does represent the Communist Party in all but name.

He has not done this alone but is the culmination of decades of Democrats AND Republicans, whose political careers were more dear to them than their nation.

Look over the Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto and think back to which party, which president was the moving force or supporters of these laws.

America Cries for Help

It has happened. I never really believed it would happen in my lifetime, not in America, but I was wrong. Dead wrong.

America is dieing. The shell remains but the ideal of what she is, the ideal of how she would set a shinning example to the rest of the world of what real freedom and real human rights were about...gone.

America has been dieing for some time. It is not a death, which happens suddenly, like a stroke or heart-attack. No, she has been sick for a long time, but the doctors have never been able to agree on what is wrong so no treatment has ever been instituted, and now she is all but gone.

I do not know if she can be revived, if what she was and how tall she stood in the world will ever be recovered but maybe she can at least be kept alive long enough for the right doctor to step forward and pronounce the right disease and treatment. At this stage of health, the treatment will probably be radical and severe. Maybe even costly but we are now at the bitter end. We are at the point of "do or die".

This nation where once individual thought was prized, where freedom of expression, freedom of opinion and freedom to do what one wanted so long as one didn't harm another's person or property was treasured, has over the years been morphed into the very thing from which our ancestors escaped...a European style collective mindset.

This infection was brought to America by people who did not want to become an American but wanted to take the bounty of America and steal it for themselves. Well, they have succeeded. It took many years, many decades, but they seem to have won.

There are two chances to restore America.

One will come in Nov 2010 when elections across the country for Federal offices will occur. This will be an opportunity to practice the old saying, "Payback is a bitch!" and remove from office all the turncoats who voted to approve this socialist, European health care bill. I would love to see everyone of them lose their seats!

The second will come in Nov 2012 when 33 Senate seats (23 Democrats) will be available for removal as well as the Presidential election.

Sarah Palin has not officially stated she will run, but if she does, we NEED her to take back our country. She is the ONLY person who has demonstrated she does not play ball with the status quo politicians. There is no other person who has the track record and the history of taking on and beating the people who want to destroy what our country is about.

Instant Coffee vs Home Brewed TEA

What a dismal joke. As usual, the left just doesn't get it.

To think they tried to rally their troops with a duplication of the TEA Party Movement (the one that isn't suppose to exist because it's just "astro-turf") and call it the "Coffee Party" is actually an indication of their losing ground. Not only with people, as evidenced by the LACK of turn out but with politicians wanting to hang on to their cushy jobs. Especially in this job market, a present from their fearless and clueless leader.

This should have been called the "Instant Coffee Party" because that is what they are. Fake patriots, just add water...lots of HOT water.

The TEA Party was a throw back to the pre-Revolutionary time when the people were being mistreated and abused by their King. They were not being heard in England and they revolted.

"King Washington DC" is faring no better. I guess they believed their own propaganda. Silly and stupid, like a drug dealer who begins to use his own product, sooner or later he gets caught. Washington DC is getting caught up in their own lies and stepping in their own cow mature.

The TEA Party was born of people who understood the government was like a horse with the bit in it's mouth, running out of control. They understood something had to be done and NOW! They understood the only way to get their point across to the deaf, dumb and blind was the time tested and protected RIGHT of protest.

Of course none are so blind as those who WILL NOT see, or so deaf as those who WILL NOT hear..and well...you just can't do anything about stupid.

Grassroots is where Americans work best. They work together and they make an impact. The key ingredient is the WILL of the People to fight injustice. The man fighting to protect his family and property has more heart than a paid mercenary.

The Coffee Party, a pathetic imitation, is attempting to represent a people who are already in power, who have representation in Washington DC and who are calling the shots at every turn. Where is their sense of injustice? There can be none. Where is their heart? They have none because they are a collective. No independent thought, no individual ideas, they are like the Borg in Star Trek.

They think there is power in numbers and groups, which is why they want to squash the TEA Party Movement every chance they get but they missed the history lessons of the original Tea Party, of the American Revolution, of the Alamo. That lesson is a small group of people fighting for what is right and just will win every time!

I Don't Miss You

What is with all the "Do you miss me yet?" baloney? Do Americans really have such short memories?

How about a little refresher course to remind you of why the people voted for a nobody like Obama in the first place.

Recall in the fall of 2000 that Iraq had bought uranium from Niger, or so we were told during Bush's State if the Union Address. And told again by Condi Rice and Colin Powell. We were told and told and told. It justified the war. We later found out it was pure Texas cow manure along with the fear of WMD which never proved to be true either.

How can we forget the man who gave us the U.S.A. P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act by shoving it down the throats of the American people, via not allowing Congress to read the bill prior to voting. Only after the bill was passed did the full comprehension of what had just happen began to surface. One of the most thorough looks at the Act was presented by Jennifer Van Bergen who wrote a six-part series of articles under the heading "Repeal the USA Patriot Act" in April 2002.

How about the bogey-man Osama bin Laden? First he is Public Enemy #1 and then it is like "who's he?".

We can now say the following quote concerning George W. Bush is no longer true, with the election of Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro:

In 2008 an article appeared on the website Global Reseach.ca stating how Bush policies were changing the American government from an open government to a closed government:

Of course, with the election of BHO, this is also no longer just a Bush fad. No other president, including Bush, has managed to hoodwink the people like Obama, mainly by making his records closed, sealed and taken off the grid.

So, again I ask, are the memories of the American people really so short? I sure hope not and if they are, I hope the bloggers keep reminding them.

We fought and won one war against an oppressive government and it is shaping up to look as though it may need to happen again. I pray we are blessed again to win.

Oregon, No Longer God's Country

In the 1970's I lived in Astoria, Oregon. The sky was so blue it could hurt your eyes to look at it and the air was clean. No wonder the state was referred to as "God's County" by locals. That can't be said any longer.

One of the largest abortion clinics in Oregon has opened in Portland. "...this new one is right on the edge of the African-American community..." stated the director of Oregon Right to Life, Gayle Atteberry. Now why would that be important? Why would the ideal location of the largest abortion clinic in the state be next to the African-American community? Are they expecting more Black women to murder their unborn babies than other racial groups? If having an abortion is the new best birth control device and if it is so chic, then why not build it right down town so all the tourist visiting the city may see it?

Since 1997, Oregon has allowed assisted suicide through the "Death with Dignity Act".

Both of these actions are between the person and God. Only Jesus can forgive sin. The government has no business being involved in this business..the business of abortion and suicide.

Whether you agree with either or not, the consequences of the choice made by the individual will not be born by you or me, or rather should not be born by us, but we know that isn't the case.

A botched abortion resulting in a handicapped child will result in assistance in some form or fashion, usually coming from the state or federal coffers. Someone wishing to die who can't, and must remain on life support, may tap dollars from the same coffers, even if the money comes through a different fund or agency.

In the end, the dollars come from the federal level, appropriated money, borrowed from the Federal Reserve with the Promise to Pay, on the backs of the tax payers.

I am not for government funded abortion or assisted suicide. If someone wants to pay out of their pocket, and they can find a doctor willing to do it, then the blood is on their hands. It is none of my business. It is between them and God.

Why We Need These Women

In 2008 Americans supposedly rushed out to vote for an all but unknown Democrat presidential candidate as a backlash against the policies of the Bush Administration. The people were angry and they acted without due diligence.

This sweeping of Democrats into office has now been revealed as a huge mistake. A monumental mistake of such proportions that the reaping is more than most Americans can bear, more than America can bear.

Rumors abound that Sarah Palin will seek the Republican nomination for President in 2012. The polls are showing a middle range for her. Not the best but not the worst either.

It is well known among the people that Palin is not willing to play in the same clubhouse as the Big Boys. She cleaned up her party's house in her own state so there is no reason to think she would not attempt to do the same in Washington DC.

This is just one of the many reasons why America needs her to win, if she runs.

Some of her accomplishments during her 1st term as Mayor of Wasilla, AK:

Cut property taxes by 75% and eliminated personal property and business inventory taxes
Made improvements to the roads and sewers
Increased funding to the Police Department
Reduced her own $68,000 salary by 10%

What other governor of any state made these kinds of decisions?

And speaking of governors, Texas is seeing a surge of support for black horse gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina. Some of her support is the backlash to the bushwhacking Medina received at the hands of Glenn Beck and his just as arrogant sidekick, Pat Gray. Bad move on the part of Glenn Beck who is seeing a drop in his Texas supporters according to the comments made by people on social networking sites like Facebook and on the radio talk shows.

Not a career politician, Medina is instead a common sense business owner and professional nurse. We need that with this socialist style Health Care Reform being ramrodded down Americans throats.

Medina, supported by many self-identified Tea Party members, believes in limited government and individual freedoms. She believes in and intends to give not only the Texas Constitution but the U.S. Constitution more than just the lip service her fellow candidates have given. She is a breath of fresh air for Texas. The "Federal" Transportation Security Administration hires people with no brains, no ability to think outside the black & white box. They can't assess a situation and figure out how to handle it. What part of "he can't walk without the leg braces ON" do they not get? Stupid, stupid service workers. They should be working at McDonalds!

They could have taken the child to a private room, had him completely searched, have an explosives dog sniff him ..anything except what they did. This burns my butt! This is tantamount to abuse in my book!

Did you hear about the Camden cop whose disabled son wasn't allowed to pass through airport security unless he took off his leg braces?

Unfortunately, it's no joke. This happened to Bob Thomas, a 53-year-old officer in Camden's emergency crime suppression team, who was flying to Orlando in March with his wife, Leona, and their son, Ryan.

Ryan was taking his first flight, to Walt Disney World, for his fourth birthday.

The boy is developmentally delayed, one of the effects of being born 16 weeks prematurely. His ankles are malformed and his legs have low muscle tone. In March he was just starting to walk.

Mid-morning on March 19, his parents wheeled his stroller to the TSA security point, a couple of hours before their Southwest Airlines flight was to depart.

The boy's father broke down the stroller and put it on the conveyor belt as Leona Thomas walked Ryan through the metal detector.

The alarm went off.

The screener told them to take off the boy's braces.

The Thomases were dumbfounded. "I told them he can't walk without them on his own," Bob Thomas said.

"He said, 'He'll need to take them off.' "

Ryan's mother offered to walk him through the detector after they removed the braces, which are custom-made of metal and hardened plastic.

Now, as if this wasn't enough, the boy's father spoke to the Supervisor who demonstrated he should also be working at McDonalds and THEN a PA cop showed up:

A Philadelphia police officer approached and asked what the problem was. Thomas said he identified himself and said he was a Camden officer. The Philadelphia officer suggested he calm down and enjoy his vacation.

Did you get the message there? "SHUT-UP, OBEY, COMPLY, YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS, or something worse could happen here".

You may think this is nothing. You may think it is for our own good. You are wrong! We are witnessing the behaviour modification in process. We are seeing that we poor pitiful citizens have no rights on this country or expectation to be treated with respect or even like adults. We are nothing except "human resources" to work, feed the federal monster with taxes so the govt can continue to grow and oppress us. And we are allowing it to happen! We are helping it to happen by accepting "our fate"!

When I heard some of the speech Governor Palin gave at the Tea Party Convention in Tenn, I wanted to jump up and cheer as well. She clearly has a grasp of the situation America faces and she appears to be the only presidential candidate who does, besides Ron Paul.

If she decides to run against Obama in 2012, she can win with a landslide IF she has a equally strong and respected running mate. There is a rumor that Rick Perry, currently trying to hang on to his Texas Governor's seat, is seen as a possible running mate.

During his previous campaign, Perry made many promises, as do all candidates running for office, but it was less than two weeks after he hoodwinked Texans into electing him that the promises began failing apart. Many people started to wonder if they should have recorded the promises to play back for him. It was like he suddenly had political amnesia.

Promises to secure the border and build a 700 mile fence that he had criticized Washington, DC for failing to fund, suddenly didn't seem like a viable solution any longer.

A candidate who wants LESS government like Sarah Palin has nothing in common with someone who likes more government when it suits their purposes (read: $$$$) such as Rick Perry. Texans have not forgotten his Nazi-style attempt at forcing young girls to have the STD Vaccine, regardless of what their parents wanted and regardless of what the voters wanted. Due to MERCK, the pharmaceutical company, getting lambasted as a result of Perry's obstinate refusal to back off the mandate, they asked him to stop.

I have no idea who she'll pick if she decides to run but if she picks Perry, he will definitely hurt her chances with Texans.

Are We to Become the Next Political Whores?

When Mary Landrieu's vote was bought and paid for, freedom-loving and principled people near Louisiana were angry but not surprised. Louisiana's political history is full of corrupted politicians, more so than just about any other state, except for perhaps Illinois.

When Ben Nelson's vote was bought and paid for, people were so angry, even his fellow Nebraskans, booed him out of a pizza parlor (that's Texan for a pizza restaurant).

Then came the State of the Union Address. What a joke. He is always campaigning, always selling his propaganda, always thinking his got it right again. Always wrong. Obama can't seem to grasp the idea that he won the election because people didn't know him and they believed him, but now, they DO know him and they DON'T believe him any longer.

Nile Gardiner wrote in his Jan. 28th article, "State of the Union: Barack Obama gets and F for world leadership":

"Barack Obama...focused heavily on the economy and the domestic political agenda. This was hardly surprising in the aftermath of last week’s catastrophic defeat for his party in the Massachusetts special Senate election... American voters are turning strongly against the president’s health care reform package as well as his big government vision for the economy, which has contributed to spiraling public debt and mounting unemployment, now standing at over 10 percent. ....President Obama displayed what can only be described as a stunning indifference towards the defence of the homeland. .. I cannot think of a US president in modern times who has attached less importance to human rights issues. ...He has sacrificed the projection of American power upon the altar of political vanity, with empty speeches and groveling apologies across the world, from Strasbourg to Cairo..."

To Mr. Gardiner and others who are slowly awakening to the reality of just who and what America voted into office, I say, there is more to come.

And his State of the Union speech has revealed as much.

He spoke of pumping money in the education program, the student loan program, the lending programs and cutting spending at the same time. As an old western movie line goes, "Paleface speaks with a forked tongue." Well, part of it is right.

So, who are the next people to be bought off? Who will be the next political whore we can point to as being more interested in the payoff than in the principle of maintaining a free America and stopping Obama's dead run into a Socialistic transformation?

It will be the American people themselves. They can't see that Obama is attempting to blind them with the money. He has taken over the auto industry, the banking industry, his policies have caused the loss of jobs faster than any single event in American history and is attempting to take over the Health Care industry. He knows the American people are all that stand in his way of accomplishing the total and complete "fundamental transformation of America". So now he is trying to buy them as well and given the number of people who have lost their jobs and NEED help, they may have no choice.

We are to become the next political whores, accepting the money in exchange for the principle, because the principle won't feed our families or pay the mortgage.

Obama: A Loser in Action

Waiting for the dust to settle on the State of the Union Address has given me time to hear and read how Obama was received.

It is painfully obvious that the news media doesn't understand what is happening with American voters any more than the politicians in Washington D.C., whether Democrat or Republican.

The machines, both political and news media, can't seem to grasp the idea that Americans hold both parties to blame for the state of the nation and the constant blaming of the previous administration is like riding a dead horse. Every incoming administration blames the outgoing administration. This is a convenient explanation as to why the current administration can't make good on it's campaign promises.

This may have worked in days gone by but the people understand all too well what a cop out this is and they are sick of it. The bottom line is what the people care about. At the end of the day, it isn't party affiliation that counts as much as accomplishments, production, and action.

People will vote for the person they believe can get the job done. They don't give a damn if that person is Democrat or Republican. There is so little difference between the parties nowadays that you might as well say, "Are you voting for the blonde or the brunette?" Like who cares?

The system is set up so candidates must pick a party, and voters, if they want to vote in a primary, must choose one party or the other but in the end, they will vote for the person, not the party. This is the point the stuck-in-the-mental-rut machines can't get. This is why Obama won. This is why he will lose.

People are sick and tired of Do-Nothing-Republicans, so they needn't think they are safe in November either. Democrats who side with Biden, Reid, Pelosi and Obama can start packing up their offices now as their days are numbered.

The old cliché about "action talks and BS walks" should be the theme of the fall elections.

"Don't TELL me what you are going to do, SHOW me something!"

What Washington has shown us is that they don't care about what we have to say, they are going to do things their way.

Well, that is just fine. Do it your way because there is going to be hell to pay in November. Voters are biding their time and I predict a major turn out, maybe the largest in our history. And it would not surprise me to see some Independents win for a change.

The Internet was and still is blazing with the upset in Massachusetts last night. I'll bet there were Democrats all over America changing their underwear as the final votes came in and as Martha Coakley conceded the race.

Scott Brown stated the voice of the "independent majority" had spoken and reminded all that he knew "this was the people's seat". These were buzz words, a message to Democrats everywhere that America is a nation of independent people and they are the real masters of the government, not the other way around.

The people of America are beginning to make good on their promise, "shove it down our throats in 2009, we'll shove it up your butt in 2010". Well, 2010 is here and they are coming.

Pelosi, Reid, Frank and all others had better hear the ringing sound of the "first shot" and comprehend the meaning, foresee the impact and stop smoking whatever it is that has been filling their heads with false illusions of grandeur.

No more backroom deals
No more terrorist leniency
No more sweet deals for special interest
No more closed door politics
No more socialistic legislation forced on Americans

There is a revolution in process and it is coming via the voting box. It is a promise...it is a guarantee, if Democrats try to rush the Health Care vote, it will be the nail in the coffin of individual careers all across America.

Gen. Robert E. Lee’s Birthday at the Arlington House
January 18th or 19th, 2010

Dear Superintendent Metzler:

Thank you for taking the time for your consideration of this event. Please consider this letter my proposal for an event to honor General Robert E. Lee’s 203rd birthday at the Arlington House on January 18 or 19, 2010.

I am a Civil War re-enactor, playing the part of Robert E. Lee in numerous re-enactments; I am a historian and present & past member of many historical societies, including but not limited to the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Civil War Preservation Trust and Civil War Roundtables. From numerous discussions with members of these organizations, as well as members of the general public, I am astonished at how few individuals know the history of the Arlington House as the last true home of Robert E. Lee, and the origin of Arlington Cemetery.

HISTORY

Following is a brief history of the Arlington Estate, now known as Arlington National Cemetery, which evidences the meaning of Arlington to Robert E. Lee and his family, and the historical importance of the site:

Narrative of Capt. Lee:

“I did not see my father again until he came to my mother at Arlington after the death of her father, G.W. P. Custis, in October 1857. He took charge of my mother’s estate after her father’s death, and commenced at once to put it in order – not an easy task, as it consisted of several plantations and many negroes. I was at a boarding-school, after the family returned to Arlington, and saw my father only during the holidays, if he happened to be at home. He was always fond of farming, and took great interest in the improvements he immediately began at Arlington relating to the cultivation of the farm, to the buildings, roads, fences, fields, and stock, so that in a very short time the appearance of everything on the estate was improved. He often said that he longed for the time when he could have a farm of his own, where he could end his days in quiet and peace, interested in the care and improvement of his own land. This idea was always with him. In a letter to his son, written in July, ’65, referring to some proposed indictments of prominent Confederates, he says: ‘ . . . As soon as I can ascertain their intention toward me, if not prevented, I shall endeavour to procure some humble, but quiet abode for your mother and sisters, where I hope they can be happy. As I before said, I want to get in some grass country where the natural product of the land will do much for my subsistence …’” Recollections, p. 20.

“Very soon after he assumed charge of Arlington, the place showed, in its improved condition, the effects of his energetic industry.” Recollections, p. 206.

“When Lee married Mary Custis, he married Arlington as well, and that, too, was to have a profound influence upon him. The estate was to bring much harassment of spirit, but it was to deepen his reverence for the Washington tradition. Mr. Custis himself was, of course, the nearest link with the first President. Many of the Washington relics were at Arlington. To come into its atmosphere was to Robert Lee almost like living in the presence of his foremost hero, his father’s old commander. ‘This marriage,’ wrote a kinsman-biographer, ‘in the eyes of the world, made Robert Lee the representative of the family of the founder of American liberty.’” Abridgment, p. 28-29.

“Lee departed from Arlington on the morning of April 22 [1861], never to enter its friendly portals again.” Abridgment, p. 113.

Letter of April 26, 1861 from Lee to his wife:

“… I am very anxious about you. You have to move and make arrangements to go to some point of safety, which you must select. The Mount Vernon plate and pictures ought to be secured. ….” Recollections, p. 29.

“Arlington was in the hands of enemies. His concern was for his invalid wife, not for himself. Mrs. Lee had been very loath to leave Arlington. Not until about May 14 did she betake herself temporarily to nearby Ravensworth. Even then she left many of the family’s possessions and some of the Washington relics within easy reach of marauders.” Abridgment, p. 129.

Letter of May 8, 1861 from Lee to his wife:

“… I grieve at the necessity that drives you from your home. I can appreciate your feelings on the occasion, and pray that you may receive comfort and strength in the difficulties that surround you. When I reflect upon the calamity impending over the country, my own sorrows sink into insignificance ….” Recollections, p. 30.

Narrative of Capt. Lee:

“… he was in constant correspondence with my mother, helping all he could in her arrangements for leaving her home. His letters show that he thought of everything, even the least, and he gave the most particular directions about his family, their effects, the servants, the horses, the farm, pictures, plate, and furniture.” Recollections, p. 31.

Letter of May 25, 1861 from Lee to his wife:

“ … I sympathise deeply in your feelings at leaving your dear home. I have experienced them myself, and they are constantly revived. I fear we have not been grateful enough for the happiness there within our reach, and our heavenly Father has found it necessary to deprive us of what He has given us. I acknowledge my ingratitude, my transgressions, and my unworthiness, and submit with resignation to what he thinks proper to inflict upon me. We must trust all then to him, and I do not think it prudent or right for you to return there, while the United States troops occupy that country.” Recollections, p. 32.

Letter of October 7, 1861 from Lee to his wife:

“ … There is no prospect of your returning to Arlington. I think you had better select some comfortable place in the Carolinas or Georgia, and all board together. … If I thought our enemies would not make a vigorous move against Richmond, I would recommend to rent a house there.” Recollections, p. 50.

“Lee departed that same day, December 1 [1863]. Arriving in Richmond, he went to quarters his wife had rented on Leigh Street. They were in a two-story wooden house, a humble place compared with Arlington, but the first home of their own in which the members of the family had been able to gather since the outbreak of the war.” Abridgment, p. 359.

Capt. Lee’s narrative, discussing the scene at Appomattox Courthouse, April 9, 1865:

“In a few words: ‘Men, we have fought through the war together; I have done my best for you; my heart is too full to say more,’ he bade them good-bye and told them to return to their homes and become good citizens. The next day he issued his farewell address, the last order published to the army:

“After four years’ of arduous service, marked by unsurpassed courage and fortitude, the Army of Northern Virginia has been compelled to yield to overwhelming numbers and resources. I need not tell the survivors of so many hard-fought battles, who have remained steadfast to the last, that I have consented to this result from no distrust of them; but, feeling that valour and devotion could accomplish nothing that could compensate for the loss that would have attended the continuation of the contest, I have determined to avoid the useless sacrifice of those whose past services have endeared them to their countrymen. By the terms of the agreement, officers and men can return to their homes and remain there until exchanged. You will take with you the satisfaction that proceeds from the consciousness of duty faithfully performed; and I earnestly pray that a merciful God will extend to you His blessing and protection. With an increasing admiration of your constancy and devotion to your country, and a grateful remembrance of your kind and generous consideration of myself, I bid you an affectionate farewell.” Recollections, pp. 153-154.

Capt. Lee said that all the children were baptized at Arlington by Rev. W.S. White, D.D., “the oldest Christian minister in the town”, “pastor of Christ’s Church, Alexandria, the trusted friend of my grandmother and mother.” Recollections, p. 187, fn. 1.

Capt. Lee states that his father lived at the Lexington (Va.) Hotel (Recollections, p. 187) until renovations of a house “assigned him” on the Washington College campus were completed (Recollections, p. 188). Lee supervised the renovations, and “everything down to the minutest detail was done by my father’s directions and under his superintendence. … The difficulties to be overcome were made greater by the scarcity and inaccessibility of supplies and workmen and the smallness of his means.” Recollections, p. 188. When his father and mother finally moved into the house, “[t]he floors were covered with the carpets rescued from Arlington – much too large and folded under to suit the reduced size of the rooms.” Recollections, p. 203.

“Mrs. Britannia Kennon, of Tudor Place, my mother’s first cousin … had saved for us a great many of the household goods from Arlington, having gotten permission from the Federal authorities to do so, at the time it was occupied by their forces.” Recollections, p. 190.

“The only effect of the amnesty proclamation on Lee was to make it possible for him to undertake the recovery of property seized at Arlington. The silver already had been sent to Lexington and was in daily use. Through the efforts of Mrs. Britannia Kennon, virtually all of the portraits at the Custis mansion had been removed to Tudor Place, Georgetown, and after the war had been forwarded. But the Washington relics had been left at Arlington in 1861. Some of them were stolen and carried away by individuals, as were the small personal belongings of the Lees, found in the house by marauding Federal soldiers. When General McDowell took over Arlington as a Federal post, the servant in charge told him of the depredations that had occurred. To save the remaining effects of Washington, General McDowell removed them to the Department of the Interior. Placed on exhibit at the Patent Office, with the legend ‘Captured at Arlington,’ they constituted a rather pitiful display – a pair of candelabra, part of a set of china that Lafayette had given Mrs. Washington, a punch bowl, a looking-glass, a washstand, a ‘dressing bureau’, a few of Washington’s tent poles and pins, a little of his bed clothing and a pair of his breeches, with a waistcoat – nothing that had any value apart from its association with the first President.” Abridgment, p. 553.

“Arlington, which had been sold for delinquent taxes on January 11, 1864, was now the property of the United States and had been set aside as a soldiers’ cemetery. The price paid was $26,860, but the money was merely transferred from one government account to another.” Abridgment, p. 555. “General Lee’s first impulse after the war had been to wait, trusting that his civil rights would be restored and that he could proceed to clear the estate, though, meantime, he asked a friendly attorney to investigate the case. As the prospect of a pardon faded out, he still hoped that he might redeem Arlington, which he assumed the government had sold in the belief that the estate was his. Lee could do nothing to prevent the award to the government of a tax-sale title, which was allowed on September 26, 1866.” Abridgment, p. 555.

Capt. Lee’s narrative:

“When my mother hurriedly left her home in the spring of 1861, she found it impossible to carry away the valuable relics of George Washington which her father had inherited from Mount Vernon, and which had been objects of great interest at Arlington for more than fifty years. After the Federal authorities took possession of the place, the most valuable of these Mount Vernon relics were conveyed to Washington City and place in the Patent Office, where they remained on exhibition for many years labeled ‘Captured from Arlington’. They were then removed to the ‘National Museum’, where they are now, but the card has been taken off. In 1869, a member of Congress suggested to my mother that she should apply to President Johnson to have them restored to her. In a letter from my father to this same gentleman, this bit of quiet humour occurs:

‘Lexington, Virginia, February 12, 1869.

‘ … Mrs. Lee has determined to act upon your suggestion and apply to president Johnson for such of the relics from Arlington as are in the Patent Office. From what I have learned, a great many things formerly belonging to General Washington, bequeathed to her by her father, in the shape of books, furniture, camp equipage, etc., were carried away by individuals and are now scattered over the land. I hope the possessors appreciate them and may imitate the example of their original owners, whose conduct must at times be brought to their recollection by these silent monitors. In this way they will accomplish good to the country ….’

“He refers to this same subject in a letter to the Honourable George W. Jones, Dubuque, Iowa:

‘In reference to certain articles which were taken from Arlington, about which you inquire, Mrs. Lee is indebted to our old friend Captain James May for the order from the present administration for their restoration to her. Congress, however, passed a resolution forbidding their return. They were valuable to her as having belonged to her great-grandmother (Mrs. General Washington), and having been bequeathed to her by her father. But as the country desires them, she must give them up. I hope their presence at the capital will keep in the remembrance of all Americans the principles and virtues of Washington ….’” Recollections, pp. 336-338.

Capt. Lee, discussing some photographs principally of General and Mrs. Washington, being “coloured” by his mother:

“These photographs that were being coloured by my mother were from the original portraits of General Washington by Peale and of Mrs. Washington by W-------. These paintings hung at Mt. Vernon until the death of Mrs. Washington, and were then inherited by my grandfather, Mr. Custis. They were at ‘Arlington’ till ’61, when they were removed to ‘Ravensworth’, where they remained until the end of the war.” Recollections, p. 354.

Letter from Lee to his wife, April 11, 1870:

“ … I presume the petition sent you for signature was the consequence. I do not know where this is a propitious time or not, and should rather have had an opportunity to consult friends, but am unable to do so. Tell Custis that I wish that he would act for me, through you or others, for it is mainly on his account that I desire the restitution of the property. I see that a resolution has been introduced into Congress ‘to perfect the title of the Government to Arlington and other National cemeteries,’ which I have been apprehensive of stirring, so I suppose the matter will come up anyhow. I did not sign the petition, for I did not think it necessary and believed the more I was kept out of sight the better. We must hope for the best, speak as little and act as discreetly as possible.” Recollections, p. 396.

“On July 14 [1870], he crossed the Potomac for the last time, southward bound. At the Mansion House in Alexandria, he put up for the night. On the 15th he had a conference with his old attorney, Francis L. Smith, about the possible recovery of Arlington, but he got little encouragement.” Abridgment, p. 575.

Letter from Lee to his wife, July 15, 1870:

“ … I have seen Mr. Smith† this morning and had with him a long business talk, and will see him again after seeing Cassius. The prospect is not promising …”

† Mr. Francis L. Smith was my father’s lawyer. The matter referred to which caused the remark, ‘The prospect is not promising,’ was the chance of getting back the estate of Arlington from the U.S. Government. Mr. Smith and Mr. Cassius Lee [father’s first cousin] were my father’s advisers in this matter.” Recollections, p. 414.

Custis Lee revived the campaign for Arlington—this time in court.

Asserting ownership of the property, Lee asked the Circuit Court of Alexandria, Virginia, to evict all trespassers occupying it as a result of the 1864 auction. As soon as U.S. Attorney General Charles Devens heard about the suit, he asked that the case be shifted to federal court, where he felt the government would get a fairer hearing. In July 1877, the matter landed in the lap of Judge Robert W. Hughes of the U.S. Circuit Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Hughes, a lawyer and newspaper editor, had been appointed to the bench by President Grant.

After months of legal maneuvering and arguments, Hughes ordered a jury trial. Custis Lee's team of lawyers was headed by Francis L. Smith, the Alexandrian who had strategized with Lee's father years before. Their argument turned upon the legality of the 1864 tax sale. After a six-day trial, a jury found for Lee on January 30, 1879: by requiring the "insurrectionary tax" to be paid in person, the government had deprived Custis Lee of his property without due process of law. "The impolicy of such a provision of law is as obvious to me as its unconstitutionality," Hughes wrote. "Its evil would be liable to fall not only upon disloyal but upon the most loyal citizens. A severe illness lasting only ninety or a hundred days would subject the owner of land to the irreclaimable loss of its possession."

The government appealed the verdict to the Supreme Court—which ruled for Lee again. On December 4, 1882, Associate Justice Samuel Freeman Miller, a Kentucky native appointed by President Lincoln, wrote for the 5 to 4 majority, holding that the 1864 tax sale had been unconstitutional and was therefore invalid.

The Lees had retaken Arlington.

This left few options for the federal government, which was now technically trespassing on private property. It could abandon an Army fort on the grounds, roust the residents of Freedmen's Village, disinter almost 20,000 graves and vacate the property. Or it could buy the estate from Custis Lee—if he was willing to sell it.

He was. Both sides agreed on a price of $150,000, the property's fair market value. Congress quickly appropriated the funds. Lee signed papers conveying the title on March 31, 1883, which placed federal ownership of Arlington beyond dispute. The man who formally accepted title to the property for the government was none other than Robert Todd Lincoln, secretary of war and son of the president so often bedeviled by Custis Lee's father. If the sons of such adversaries could bury past arguments, perhaps there was hope for national reunion.

PROPOSAL OF EVENT

General Robert E. Lee’s 203rd birthday will be on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. In many states of the South, Lee’s birthday is recognized as a State holiday, which is now in conjunction with Martin Luther King’s birthday – a Federal holiday on Monday. Over time, Lee’s birthday has been obscured as a result of the actions of political correctness. However, it is an absolute fact that Lee was a Christian man of great integrity, a man of incredible honor, and such honor to his sons who decided for the best interest not only of their father, but to this nation today. Though the Confederacy he so ably served lost in 1865, as stated above, he told his men “to return to their homes and become good citizens.” But Lee himself was unable to return home, as he had no home to which to return. However, the people of the south then, and many people today, still honor, respect and admire his strengths and values. The proposed event is contemplated not only in honor and respect of Lee the man, but also to acknowledge the values and principles to which he subscribed, and upon which this country was founded.

The proposed ceremony would be held either on Monday, January 18, 2010, or Tuesday, January 19, 2010, in front of the Arlington Mansion with your Honor Guards to be enjoined with the Confederate Honor Guards and to have a Confederate flag flown upon the flagpole immediately below the American flag. The choice of flag to be flown is as follows:

1. First National Confederate Flag (flag flown at Arlington 1861)
2. Second National Confederate Flag (1863)
3. Third National Confederate Flag (1864-65)
4. Confederate Battle Flag
5. General Robert E. Lee’s Headquarters Flag

The decision of which flag to fly will be made by you; please provide me with your choice and the dimensions of the flag along with your acceptance of this proposal. The flag will be manufactured and delivered by the Ruffin Flag Company in Georgia and will be delivered to VA.

The ceremony will occur at the normal time of raising the American flag. Proper salutes shall be delivered by the US and Confederate guards. Confederate/civilian period reenactors (both men and women) will be present, and it is requested after the raising of the Confederate flag, two Confederate Honor Guards shall stand at attention on each side of the flagpole, and will be properly rotated hourly. The flag will be taken down at the end of the day and provided/secured to me for proper placement for historical purposes.

As this is a historical event, it is requested that press/media outlet coverage be allowed. Press releases may be prepared and submitted by you and/or by historical societies who have an interest.

It is requested that tours be allowed in the Arlington Mansion for visitors and guests. Historical guest speakers in period attire may attend to speak about Lee and Arlington’s history, if requested.

CONCLUSION

It is my understanding that there has not been any such request or similar event ever conducted, except an event by the Daughters of the Confederacy in 1914, which honored the Confederate soldiers that are buried in Arlington Cemetery. This is NOT an issue of political correctness, but of historical merit. Because Confederate flags are flown in other National Battlefield Parks, this event would be no different from those conducted in those other Parks. As we discussed, this would be a positive event for the National Parks Service, it is a matter of honor and historical import, and it is therefore respectfully submitted that approval should be granted.

No fire works or celebration for me. The year ended dismal and disheartening as I think back over the changes which have come so fast and furiously.

Most of us have not felt these changes as yet because we live in the outer edges of the politicians direct reach. It will be when we try to access some service or maybe even during tax time, then we may "feel" it. The changes will trickle down to us.

Health Care. Personally, I have not had a job which offered insurance in over ten years. I pay as I go. I thank the good Lord that my health is excellent, in spite of the damage I have subjected it to over the years. Not having insurance is bad, but the larger issue of a free country is much more important than my having health insurance. To me, it is a no-brainer and I really do not understand why the people buying into this BS can't see the destruction they will have bestowed upon their country and their offspring.

People have allowed the propaganda to become their truth. They have allowed the real "evil doers" to tell them what is fact and what is not.

Global Warming. As we watch while our "leaders" bemoan the fate of the world because of Climate Change, telling us it is our fault, they jet around the world leaving a carbon footprint larger than some of us will leave in our entire lives. And how did this become MY fault? I am not a big industrialist like the Fords or Rockefellers. I have not personally contributed enough to the destruction of the climate just by being here. Why should the little guy be penalized and made to feel guilty about living and breathing? And why should we have to pay for anything?

If you want to hold some one accountable for this make believe science, then turn on the big guys. Al Gore may not have invented the Internet but he sure has learned how to capitalize on the "carbon footprint" hocus-pocus, smoke & mirrors illusion. His utility bills and expenditures point to an enormous "footprint", however, because he can buy a "license to pollute", commonly called "carbon credits", he can pollute all he wants and then deduct the credits and it appears he is neutral, when the truth is, he is a big polluter. The guy telling us it is our fault the poor polar bears are suffering is in fact a major contributor to their plight, if you use his theory.

What is the difference between a "Statesman" and a "Representative"?

A Statesman does what HE thinks is best, regardless of what the people want and a Representative does what the majority of those he represents has voted they want, regardless of his or her personal opinions.

In fact, I would say that when someone is elected to an office, by the majority of their voting block, they have agreed to put aside their personal opinions when it conflicts with what their voting block has stated they want.

Our Constitution, the Supreme Law (for those who keep forgetting why we constantly refer to that document), tells us we will have a "Representative" form of government.

Obviously, what America now has is a whore-house full of pimps and whores fighting over who gets the biggest piece of the dough, while the American people, long drugged in the illusion that voting actually counted for something, their voices actually meant something to someone in the halls of "government", have now seen this illusion dissolve before their eyes.

The most recent whores to come out of the closet are two Democrats, one from Louisiana and the other from Nebraska.

Waking up is hard, being forced to wake up should be even harder, but I fear it is another case of "too little, too late".

The majority of Americans have no clue what is happening outside of their little world and the sad thing is, for us who do understand, being in the minority, are not only affected by the acts of government,but by the ignorance of the people who do nothing, say nothing, and sleep through life.

I guess, when the taxes hit their paychecks for this Healthcare horror and when they can't get the health care they had yesterday, maybe then they'll "get it". Maybe then their rose-colored glasses will fall off and they'll understand...but I am not holding my breath.

The only good thing are the Nov 2010 elections on the horizon. Maybe, just maybe there will be enough loyal Americans who will not be suffering political amnesia and they will clean house.

Basically, it would not surprise me to find that the voters did vote these bastards out of office BUT the vote counters came up with their own results.

I have long said to stop listening to what they say and watch what they do.

Scenario:

A white male walks onto a university campus, yells out, "The South will rise again!" and starts shooting people.

Question:

How long before the president declares this is a Hate Crime? How long before the "news" papers declare it a Hate Crime? How long before Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton demand his hide be hung up, screaming that this is another example of why we need Hate Crime laws in the first place.

While this is purely a fictitious incident, no one reading this has to make a big leap in their imagination as to what the out come would be or how the media would spin it, yet we have a Muslim making a declaratory statement before he begins killing people and all the public gets are excuses as to WHY he acted as he did and told not to jump to conclusions.

I can tell you exactly WHY he acted as he did. Because he is a Muslim. There is no need to go searching for answers when he revealed it himself minutes before he acted.

And to have a president who has twice shown where his heart is, first with his jumping to conclusions over the Harvard College professor mishap (no mishap on the part of the cop, just the professor and his presidential friend) and now over his "don't jump to conclusions" remark.

Tell me, if someone, of any race, were to run up on the White House and yell, "Save America" and start shooting up the place, would people wait before they began jumping to conclusions? Would anyone ask if the person was stressed over seeing a once great and independent nation turn into a socialized police state? Would anyone ask that the shooter not be charged with a Hate Crime or deemed a domestic terrorist under the USA PATRIOT Act until it could be decided what set the person off?

Not only "No", but HELL NO!

The S.O.B. who shot up Fort Hood is a Muslim extremist as evidenced by his own words and actions and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. He should be strung up and hung in the town square...perhaps HIS head should be cut off.

I am one American who is sick and tired of being told what to think and how to act by the government and by the media.

Obama told the world that America is not at war with Islam but he forgot to mention Islam, through it's Muslim followers, IS at war with America.

Customer Service Government Style

Most of my professional life has been in the customer service business, in one aspect or another. I have owned my own business, been a co-owner of a business and worked in sales or the public service sector. In almost all instances, customer service was a huge part of the continuation of that business.

The other day I had cause to visit the local U.S. Post Office, since you have to now take letters weighing over 13oz to the counter clerk.

The customers (paying customers) were lined up almost to outside and there was one slow, solitary clerk. While standing in line, getting more and more frustrated because all I needed were two stamps to mail a letter that barely weighed over 13ozs, I began to reflect on how we Americans had better get use to waiting since it looks like ObamaCare will pass.

I began to reflect on the idea of customer service and just what it meant.

Customer service is the highest form of respect a business owner can show a customer. It is a way of telling the customer, "we appreciate your business, your money, without which, we would not be in business".

Customer service use to include such things as having the air in your tires checked, the fluid levels checked and your windshield washed while the pump-jockey filled your car up with gas.

Or the young lady checking your groceries at the supermarket would actually talk to you, the customer, instead of the checker at the next register or the bag boy, about their latest dating experiences. And revealing more than you wanted to know.

Customer service use to be attention paid to the customer to make them feel important. Now it is a thing of days gone by.

And it never was an important part of doing business with a government agency. Today, if you visit a government run service such as the Post Office or the Drivers License office etc, you are treated as though you are making them have to work. The clerks, representatives for the "company" actually treat you as though you are a pain in their butt and they wish you'd just hurry up and leave.

Now we are going to have government run health care. It won't be long until you are treated just like you are when you go to the Post Office.

It's that a pleasant thought.

It is just amazing that of all Presidents Obama wants to emulate, he had to pick Lincoln. Lincoln was no “God” and Obama is no “Messiah”. William H. Herndon, under whom Lincoln began his law practice and longtime friend, wrote one of the first biographies of Lincoln, "Story of a Great Life," but because of its frankness in unfolding the life of Lincoln it was bought up and suppressed. It was republished some years later, much modified...Lamon, in his "Life of Lincoln," said: The ceremony of Mr. Lincoln's apotheosis was planned and executed after his death by men who were unfriendly to him while he lived. Men who had exhausted the resources of their skill and ingenuity in venomous distractions of the living Lincoln were first after his death to undertake the task of guarding his memory, not as a human being, but as a god. What is suppressed is that Lincoln’s legend was rewritten so that we the people would be kept ignorant of his true intentions. History is repeating itself, in that both presidents utilize manipulation to advance their agenda of a larger, socialistic, tyrannical government.

Thanks to the Department of Education created in 1980, history is only being told by the government through required scholastic curricula, indoctrinating us that the great War of Northern Aggression was only about slavery. This is a fallacy that has been put forward as revisionist history since the close of the War. The War was about economics, including oppressive taxation and trade tariffs, and the rights of the States to choose to continue membership in a governmental union of the United States as a whole as envisioned by the founding fathers. The Federal government was bankrupt in March 1861. The North was in a severe recession prior to that, and the South’s tax payments were supplying 75% of the amount required to keep the Federal treasury afloat. The South was being taxed at a rate of 47% of their gross income. The Southern people said that enough was enough and the States seceded. The tax rate of the US today will increase from 39% to 42%, if the proposed health care and cap and trade bills pass, if Obama and the corrupt Congress get their way. This is only the beginning …

Picture this: The people of the South in 1860 were in their churches, their town halls, out in the fields and steps of their capitals, discussing the Federal government outrage of corruption and manipulation of Constitutional States’ Rights. Look at our nation today, in the town halls, on the Capitol steps, the tea parties … again, is history repeating itself? And Justice Thomas states Americans should emulate Lincoln (recent press release).

Justice Thomas, you are a member of the highest Court in the land. Instead of relying on the history of Lincoln as propounded by the revisionist historians, you should look at the true, dark, historical, legal and unconstitutional aspects, which are clearly documented and which have been suppressed for decades. Such an outlandish suggestion without proper foundational research is pure foolishness.

The so-called Emancipation Proclamation was originally written on September 22, 1862 by Lincoln and the word “Emancipation” was not used in US history prior to this point. It is taught in history classes today that the Proclamation was written after the battle of Gettysburg in July 1863. The original intent for such a declaration was to signal the slaves to rebel in arms to attack their masters/slave owners and collapse the South through an internal war. Now, where did Lincoln ever get this idea? Answer is clear and documented. Lincoln and Karl Marx were friends, they communicated, and Marx stated of this idea as follows:

Marx ... uses this rhetoric ironically to develop his critique of bourgeois notions of emancipation. Marx points out that the bourgeois notion of freedom is predicated on choice (in politics, through elections; in the economy, through the market), but that this form of freedom is anti-social and alienating. Thus, what Bauer believes would be the emancipation of the Jews is for Marx actually alienation, not emancipation. The negroes were just a pawn to solidify/confiscate property to strengthen the federal treasury/banks of the North. It is historically documented that immediately after Lincoln was inaugurated, he called a meeting in which he promised the Northern Governors that if each State would supply war materiel to defeat and break the South, financial benefits in the form of War bonds (promissory notes), guaranteed by the federal government, would be given. This is the same meeting where Lincoln requested 75,000-90,000 volunteer Union soldiers. These securities issued by Lincoln guaranteed a high interest rate to revive the North’s industrial economy and increase employment. The securities were payable upon maturity at the cessation of the War, on Lincoln’s prediction that the War would be short-lived. This agreement occurred in late March 1861, again, at the same time the United States was bankrupt. Lincoln needed money; he needed collateral. He needed industrial production. This was America’s first “Big Government”, which is the same concept being used by the Obama administration today.

In order for the bond program to be successful, the North needed an unrestricted currency supply for citizens to pay for them and a source of income to guarantee the interest. The Legal Tender Act filled the first requirement. Passed in February 1862, the act authorized the issue of $150 million in Treasury notes, known as Greenbacks. In contrast to Confederate paper, however, Congress required citizens, banks, and governments to accept Greenbacks as legal tender for public and private debts, except for interest on federal bonds and customs duties. This policy allowed buyers to purchase bonds with greenbacks while the interest accrued to them was paid in gold (funded, in part, by specie payments of customs duties). Investors enjoyed a bountiful windfall, since government securities purchased with depreciated currency were redeemed with gold valued at the prewar level. Taxpayers essentially made up the difference. Because most bonds were acquired by the wealthy or by financial institutions, the program concentrated investment capital in the hands of those likely to use it, much as Alexander Hamilton’s debt plan had sought to do.

Documented in the book "The Lost Cause," written by E.A. Pollard in 1866, Lincoln said:

I have always thought that "Dixie" was one of the best songs I ever heard. Our ADVERSARIES over the way, I know, have attempted to appropriate it; but I insist that on yesterday we fairly CAPTURED IT. I referred the question to the attorney-general, and he gave us his legal opinion THAT IT IS NOW OUR PROPERTY. (Laughter and loud applause.) I now ask the band to give us a good turn upon it.

It was the last characteristic speech and last joke of Abraham Lincoln. He was assassinated the next night. Notice the word adversaries. Who were they? Well, many of them were appointed by Lincoln in April, 1861. By Lincoln, NOT CONGRESS. Congress was on leave till July, 1861. Aren't these unconfirmed, unaccountable advisers considered as “Czars”? Since Lincoln studied, communicated, and actually enacted the theories of Karl Marx, cannot one say that Karl Marx was the FIRST CZAR to an American President? Let’s look at the doctrine that Lincoln received from this adviser:

Last questions: The slavery issue aside, was the South right, within the Constitution, in doing what they did? Was the War between the States a senseless act imposed by Lincoln not to preserve the union, but to murder 625,000+ true born Americans based on the South’s refusal to accept the tyranny of big Federal Government, resulting in punishment by death to the South and confiscation of its property through unpaid taxes or property seized for military/governmental reasons, later to be sold to carpetbaggers for pennies on the dollar, to collateralize Lincoln’s own promises? Were the people of the South actually right?

If you said no to any of these questions, then the American voice today is worthless, tea parties are worthless, Glenn Beck and Fox News is wrong and worthless. WAKE UP AMERICA! AMERICANS MUST NOT EMULATE LINCOLN. Justice Thomas made these comments at Washington and Lee College, near the crypt of the South’s beloved General Robert E. Lee CSA. Justice Thomas would be well advised to be more circumspect in his comments, for he may be contributing to the causes of a second Civil War. The nation must pray that this will never happen.

Assuming Facts Not in Evidence

This is actually amazing legal history. How many other issues, in the history of the legal profession in America, can show a record of being thrown out, dismissed, contempt threats issued to the attorneys, and just basically demonstrate a national conspiracy by Federal Judges, than the issue of whether the man sitting in the Oval Office has a right to be there?

Federal judges, being appointed, have no fear of needing to be re-elected, nor have any sense of accountability to the public. They are only accountable to their puppet master, the one who appointed them, and who, through the Congress, can remove them if a charge can be "found". Judges are suppose to follow a standard of ethics, called a Code of Conduct.

Cannon 3 includes: A judge shall disqualify himself or herself in a proceeding in which the judge’s impartiality might reasonably be questioned...

Based on some of the comments from the judges, there is no impartiality on this issue. In all the cases, all the judges refusing to proceed are guilty of assuming the facts. They are making a decision without hearing the evidence.

An Administration Built on Lies

I read in an article about the massive attendance of the DC rally on the 12th, that the "official word" from the White House is they were not aware of the rally taking place out side and down the street. What a crock of BS!

They know when there is ONE person on the sidewalk. Washington DC has many cameras on the streets around the White House. Since 2002, there have been 14 cameras in place which are used by the Metropolitan Police.

You can bet they called the Secret Service who notified everyone who needed to be notified. Do you really think it was just a coincidence the Obama's were not home this Sept 12th? Hell no! They knew the rally was being planned and people were coming.

They have people who watch Glenn Beck and the other shows which have been talking about the rally. So their official comment has to be a lie. No surprise here.

This administration is built on lies.

If it had not have been for the guts of Rep. Joe Wilson of SC, there would still be a loophole in the Health Care bill allowing illegals to be covered under "ObamaCare", therefore, at the time Rep. Wilson yelled out "You lie!", Obama was lying, and that means Wilson was telling the truth. He need not apologize for telling the truth. Thank God someone in Washington has the guts to speak up and tell the truth, even if the moment was traditionally inappropriate. The fact is, the truth is always appropriate, any time, any where.

I applaud U.S. District Judge David Carter, a former Marine, for going forward with the case of Obama's right to occupy the Oval Office.

In the WorldNet Daily article reporting on this, Jerome R. Corsi writes, "In the U.S. Justice Department's motion to dismiss, attorneys didn't address the concerns directly, but instead focused their efforts on technical procedures, suggesting the matter can't be decided in court and that the dozens of plaintiffs cannot demonstrate they have been injured by having Obama in the Oval Office."

To the Justice Department, I would beg to differ. There are millions of people who are being injured and in fact, there are generations of people who will be injured, by having Obama illegitimately in the Oval Office.

Just with Obama's billions of dollars in bail outs & by the Cap and Trade legislation, millions and millions of people are being injured and generations of people will suffer under his policies.

How can Obama go to sleep at night, knowing the unemployment rate is at an all time high with the exception of the Great Depression? Is he just oblivious to the plight of his fellow Americans? Or is he just aware of a certain segment of the American population's condition?

Proving how many AMERICANS are being harmed and will continue to be harmed by Obama being in the Oval Office is the easiest part of the equation.

And proving whether or not Obama actually meets the Constitutional requirements should be easy and should have been an open & shut issue, had not the Great and Wonderful Oz...er Obama, spent an embarrassing amount of money to seal every document, block every path and thwart every legal maneuver by those seeking to answer the one simple question. Where is the proof Obama meets the Constitutional criteria to be President?

So this brings up the point as to why now? Why does it NOW appear that the case for the proof of Obama's eligibility may actually go forward after all this time? Is it because his popularity is waning under the weight of the fallout he has generated? That because of him, more Americans are voicing their discontent and are viewing his policies with a more critical eye? Indeed, Obama has generated a great awaking of the American spirit for independence from big government and the sleeping public is asleep no longer. Below is a segment of an email exchange.

Original email: As badly as Obama's presidency is going I wonder if he will be impeached before the year is out. If he's too much of an embarrassment to the powerful people who's pulling his strings they just might cut him loose and let him fall. ...

Arlin Specter even remarked, about the tone of Town Hall meetings, that he has never seen anything like it before.

"They'll" need to wait another generation or even two before they can try this again. Because of Obama, people are rediscovering the Constitution, they are teaching their children, making their children suspect the government, ...nope..they'll have to wait until there is another lull in the population...or just have an out right civil war for control. And thanks to Obama, every gun and bullet is now in someones home...America has never been armed to the teeth as she is now. Thanks Obama!

So just how much damage has Obama caused to the hopeful agenda of those behind him? On March 6, 1991, President George Herbert Walker Bush stated in a televised address to Congress, "Now we can see a new world coming into view. A world in which there is a very real prospect of a new world order...A world where the United Nations, freed from cold war stalemate, is poised to fulfill the historic vision of its founders." Has Obama damaged that prospect?

Oh America, Where Art Thou?

My grandfather (1904-1989), during his lifetime, was able to own a gun with no registration of any form, the gun shop on the next block had no Federal Firearm license and the brothers who owned the shop refused to get one when the license requirement was first introduced. They operated for decades without one, until they were forced to close the shop due to their advanced age. They passed away many years ago.

My grandparents, with whom I lived, did not lock their doors when we left the house. I still have some of their old deposit slips, which have a space for, besides coins, gold and silver.

The only items they ever bought on credit was their home and their cars. They never owned a credit card.

Texans were not required to have a license to drive their vehicles until 1936, a full ten years after my grandparents were married, and he was a fireman. No license required to drive those trucks, first introduced in 1911.

What happened to this America?

The citizens, trusting the leaders they [thought] they had voted into office, turned their attention away from the actions of the politicians. My grandparents had their hands full raising 3 grandchildren, one of whom was physically and mentally retarded, or as the politically correct term is, handicapped.

During this time banks were forced to either join the Federal Reserve System or close. (See page 2 of Pub.L No. 63-43 This is a pdf file) and we lost the right to privately own gold from 1933 to 1974. (See: FDR, Thief of America's Gold)

Over the decades, slowly and steady, the march of socialism crept. Little by little, the memory fades and the schools stopped teaching allegiance to our country and our flag, as though it was a bad thing. Political correctness was exchanged for patriotism and nationalism for independence.

I am surprised at the number of people, the young and especially the old, who can not see the changes in our way of life, who fail to understand what is happening to the country they profess to love. Have they forgotten their roots? Have they forgotten their history?

Dismayed and bewildered, I wonder each day as I hear the day's news, Oh America, Where Art Thou?

Keeping Silent Keeps You Trapped

While searching for pictures of old Nazi Germany several years ago, I stumbled across an image of a German train depot where a sign had been posted stating "What is good for Germany is good for Germans" A blatant piece of propaganda. I wish I had saved the photo because I have not been able to find the old black and white again.

In today's climate, keeping quiet is politically correct. Voicing an opinion other than complete allegiance for assine policies will get you labeled as "fringe element" and "unAmerican". Even the White House jumped on the band wagon with their "snitch on your neighbor" program where people were asked to send reports when they found people or postings about not supporting Obamacare. Classic Nazi tactics.

About the only medium we have left are the Townhall Meetings since having to get a permit to protest now, since Bush expanded Free Speech Zones, usually results in few meaningful locations.

I'm Not Riding This Dead Horse Anymore

Over the past several months, the news has been full of racial finger pointing towards Whites.

Because of the Birth Certificate movement, now referred to as "Birthers", all Whites who want to see proof of a Natural Born Citizen as required by the Constitution, have been categorically labeled "racist".

Wanting the see the proof of the right to be President, in light of the ever increasing LACK of proof, has got to be ONLY a racist maneuver to oust "in everything but the word" Socialist, Barack Obama.

There can't possibly be any connection to wanting adherence to the United States Constitution, after all, that document hasn't been followed closely for decades!

So, how do the other ethic groups get labeled? Are they racist as too?

All of Obama's buddies and mentors appear to have been some of the most radical, racist in America, however it is the Whites who get the label because they don't like Obama's attempt to turn America into a Socialist, atheistic state.

Well, Mr. O, it wasn't YOUR ancestors who fought for the RIGHT to be Americans in 1776. It wasn't YOUR ancestors who gave all of us freedom from the oppression of King George.

You have more or less disavowed your White side, not wanting to been seen as what you truly are, a Bi-racial or a Mulatto, but only as a Black. Are you not proud of your mother? Your Kenyan birth and roots?

A real man would come forth and claim his heritage...all of it. But not you Mr. O, you have an agenda: Covert Reparations.

How much hatred you must hide underneath that calm, cool exterior. It's a wonder you don't have ulcers.

So, a most radical, racist and ineligible man sits in the highest office in America, above the Constitution from day one, and all of America who want to see the proof of his right to be there are now called RACIST, for doing so.

America's Health Care

Currently America is on the verge of socializing the health care industry. Just another step up the ladder towards a more Socialist America.

Americans have allowed the insurance companies to dictate their medical needs and the insurance companies have been playing God with our lives ever since. Due to government programs like allowing illegals to have free health care, the health care system in this country is broke. Americans are being blamed and through the new reforms, punished. But it is the government that is to blame. Fat cat politicians taking bribes in the form of contributions, by lobbyist and pharmaceutical companies should carry the bulk of the blame.

Every program taken over by the government sector becomes bloated, and wasteful. It isn't the people who drive up the cost but the over charging by medical professionals through Medicaid, doctors and hospitals over charging those who do have insurance as a way to recoup money lost by those patients who can't pay and politicians who pork out funding bills.

It is like a dog chasing it's tail. People need health care, but they can't afford it. The doctor offices won't take payments so they go to the hospital emergency rooms. They can't pay so the hospital gets stuck with a bill, which is probably inflated to begin with, in an attempt to recoup money lost by others who couldn't pay. Forget dentist. That is a luxury item for most Americans.

Government funded programs are slow to pay or don't pay if there is any technicality in the submission of the program forms. So the provider loses again, and the people lose the most.

However, with all the ills in America's health system, it is still better than what you find in other countries.

We hear the Canadians and British horror stories of rationed health care. Is that what you want for your loved ones?

My daughter is currently in the Philippines as a missionary. The island she is on has no doctor so the missionaries use a book Where There Is No Doctor: A Village Health Care Handbook as a manual, a medical bible, to treat what they can. If it is too severe, the patient is taken by boat to the main island. The missionaries have to pack food because hospitals don't provide food for patients. And she said, there is no guarantee you'll been seen. What she is experiencing is very different from what you'll find written about health care in the Philippines

"...most of the well-trained doctors in the Philippines are serving government hospitals. What differs the Philippine government hospitals from the Philippine private hospitals is simply the facilities. Most of the public hospitals in the Philippines are not equipped with the latest technologies in medicine. But then, most Filipinos seek for advice from these government hospitals because charges are not implemented." -- Health Care in the Philippines

Notice the government hospitals have the least to offer in technologies. What happened to the open end check book of the government? You would think a government run anything would have the best. If the politicians kept their fingers out of the cookie jar, perhaps it would.

Telltale Signs of A Scarier America

Some folks just don't have a sense of humor. Or maybe some folks have a selective sense of humor.

Within the Findagrave.com discussion forums last night, as a thread where an enthusiastic discussion over Obama's proof of eligibility (or the lack thereof) was dieing down, the admins saw fit to lock it. I didn't care as it was fast coming to the point of "we must agree to disagree". This was a thread I started by posting a comment about the fact that a thread I had started minutes before had been deleted, after about 2 comments. In that thread I had posted a link to my previous blog entry, "Obama Truth Seekers to Get Day in Court?"

People have the right to disagree with my views. I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with the lack of tolerance for other points of view. I'll come back to this, the bigger picture.

This morning I posted a "news story" from carbolicsmoke.com, a satire news site. The headline read, 'Obama Says Sotomayor's "Castrate White Males" Comment Taken Out of Context'. Posting a satirical piece, as others have done WITHOUT reprisals, was just an attempt on my part to be funny. I guess not.

When did we get to this point of such intolerance in even the smallest areas in our lives? The Lounge in the Findagrave "Discussion" Forums is the proper place to post anything. I can understand not posting slanderous and out-right hate mongering topics. I am not without reason.

So now I have joined the ranks of those (discussion participants) who have been punished for their views and outspoken nature. My understanding is, even a few have been locked out more than once.

Agreed, it is not my site and they can do as they wish, but when you create an environment whereby people are invited to appropriately discuss anything as long as you aren't calling people names, etc. then WHY be so sensitive? It really is baffling to me.

The Bigger Picture

There was a time in Nazi Germany when to disagree with the State was to invite the SS into your life. Are we on the brink of this lack of tolerance for free thinking? Are we seeing the fringes of such a mass acceptance of intolerance, started in the most unassuming places only to have it spread out into all areas of our lives?

Getting locked out of a discussion group is, by itself, a nothing issue but step back and look at the bigger picture. The topics were directly or indirectly about Obama.

This small and seemingly insignificant act points to a much larger and scarier image of America to me. It is an image of an America I do not like.

Funny how most people will say, "If you have nothing to hide, why are you hiding it?" when it comes to the average suspect in any crime. Go to court, plead your case and let the jury decide...be done with it and move on.

Since Obama took the Oath of Office, people have been asking to see the proof of his qualification to hold the Office.

WND has reported that a wide range of Obama documentation – along with Obama's birth certificate – are not available, including Obama's kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and his adoption records. It appears now, U.S. District Judge David O. Carter, of California, who just happens to also be an ex-Marine, may have agreed to hear the case, filed by attorney Orly Taitz.

In all fairness, why were these questions NOT raised when he announced his candidacy?

The truth is, these questions WERE raised...and dismissed. Dismissed by the courts, the media and the sleeping public. One example from the past:

A prominent Philadelphia attorney and Hillary Clinton supporter filed suit this afternoon in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic National Committee and the Federal Election Commission. Had the courts and the media done their jobs at the time, we would not be sitting on a powder keg today. Had the courts and the media done their jobs at any juncture along the path leading to this point, perhaps we would not be sitting on this powder keg at all!

There are people in America who care deeply for the Rule of Law, who understand the Constitution is the "tie that binds" us together as a free nation and who could care less about a candidate's bloodline as long as that candidate meets the qualifications.

Then there are the people who do not like the Rule of Law, but want the law to favor them because they feel they are at a disadvantage due to their background (status, race, birth origin, etc) or because they are at an advantage due to their backgound (status, race, birth origin, old money, etc).

And then, there are the people who just want things given to them because they feel they are entitled to it for some previous injury, real or imagined. Because they have been told they somehow deserve it, and they will vote for any one, regardless of whether the candidate qualifies or not, just so long as they believe that candidate will give them more and more.

And when their candidate is challenged, they see that as proof of their continued discrimination. They don't care that he isn't qualified, all they care about is the perceived attack on THEM as a whole. This can be a race issue or a party issue.

IF there is a court hearing to force the viewing of documentation to prove ONCE & FOR ALL, that Barrack Hussein Obama meets the qualifications set out in the Constitution for his holding the office of President of the United States of America, and IF that documentation fails to provide such proof and he is removed from office, the 3rd group of people above will never believe it was done solely because "their guy" failed to meet those qualifications. They will see this as evidence of continued discrimination against their race or their party and I predict all those people who have been arming themselves to the teeth will NEED those freshly bought protection mechanisms as there will be a "Rodney King redo" across the nation.

Be aware, be prepared, be forewarned.

American Independence Day?

America has been celebrating it's independence from British rule since 1777 although this day wasn't officially called "Independence Day" until about 1791.

I find it ironic that so many Americans continue to celebrate a holiday they evidently do not value or understand.

Take the fireworks for example. Why do people celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks? The fireworks are a symbol of the rockets, cannon fire, and of the gun fire proving we were the still in the battle for our freedom. It was a win all or lose all proposition.

America would either win it's complete freedom from King George or the colonist would be under a "heavier boot" from the British. There was no going back, no saying "I'm tired, lets just wait a while longer", or "this whole ordeal is more than I bargained for, why don't we take another vote before we continue with this blood bath."

What has happened to the American people that has made them forget their past? Made them forget their history? Where is the pride in the sacrifice of so many ancestors?

We are a sorry lot. We celebrate a holiday that should condemn us for our weakness. We have voluntarily put back on the chains so many men bled and successfully fought to remove.

If the people we descend from, those of us who have lineages going back to the American Revolution, were to stand before us today, would they pat us on the back and say "Job well done!" Or would they turn from us in disappointment, even shame at how we have protected the gift of liberty and freedom they handed to us?

We did not earn it, they did. We did not bleed for it, they did, and we will not hand it over to our children like they did. Instead we hand our children heavier chains than we wear and do it with a smile!

We have no business celebrating Independence tomorrow, for we are not independent. We are very dependent but not on King George. We are dependent on Washington DC.

We have handed the responsibility for our freedoms and the duties of defending it over to people with no conscience or morality. Since the 1960s we have allowed the people who lead us to be the instruments of our demise.

We have allowed the courts to tell us we don't need God and faith in our lives or in our schools or in our laws.

Our Founders would never believe we could fall so far and so fast. They knew it was man's relationship to God and man's placement in that relationship, which told them they had no choice but to become independent of a system which did not respect this relationship. The British system was evidence of how the King saw man in the relationship. God--->King---->then everyone else.

Democrats & Republicans, The Real Domestic Terrorist

I have decided I don't like Democrats, i.e. Progressives. I don't like what comes from the Republicans either.

Republicans are moving towards the same goals as the Democrats, they are just not so brazen about it.

"Democrat" has come to be the new, politically correct term for a Socialist and Socialism is the antithesis of our [Constitutional] Republic..therefore, to be a Democrat is to be against America and the Constitution.

Some people may ask why is the Constitution always brought up? Because it is the supreme law of the land. It is the basis for and the framework in which we conduct the business of the nation.

H.R. 3162, Section 802 of the USA PATRIOT Act (Pub. L. No. 107-52)"...acts of domestic terrorism are those which: "(A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State; (B) appear to be intended— (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and (C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States."

How does one "...influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion.."?

On the Republican side, it was George W.'s insistence that the U.S.A. P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act be signed off on without reading it. In the name of the 9/11 crisis, to protect us from the evil Arab hijackers and sleeper cells certainly already within our borders, he had to have the legislation, right then! That certainly influenced the policy!

One could argue his illegal wire tapping of citizens was certainly an act of domestic terror, towards the citizens.

Now we have Obama's plans, legislation from bail outs to medical & health to just about every facet of the America life. The man who touted "transparency in government" as one of the main changes he would bring to Washington, is doing just as Bush did. His "Don't read it, just pass it because I have determined America needs this.", attitude is the same as a dictator who thinks he knows what is best...because we are all too stupid to figure it out.

No, Mr. Obama. The American people are NOT too stupid, but they are on the losing end of the power stick. And all the GREEDY politicians have the power stick by both hands.

Obama, in just a few short months, has nationalized the banking industry, and the auto industry. He has done what politicos before him have been trying to do for over 100 years.

Without the Supreme Court becoming a socialist tool, the Congress could not have abrogated their duties.

Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution: "The Congress shall have power to ... coin Money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures. .." Not the Federal Reserve. Congress.

Therefore, Congress "delegating" this Constitutional authority to another, was at that time, an illegal act, certainly an unconstitutional act, and could be said to day, in hindsight, an act of domestic terrorism.

We find in 1928 the court case described as "The Effective Demise of the Nondelegation Doctrine". Then President Calvin Coolidge, (R), "set tariff rates that would equalize production costs in the United States and competing countries." In J. W. Hampton, Jr. & Co. v. United States, 276 U.S. 394 (1928), the supreme court upheld the president's actions.

The entire point is that neither party has clean hands when it comes to protecting and supporting the Constitution. Neither party can point the finger at the other and say,"it's their fault".

So if both parties are moving this nation towards socialism and if most Americans (who understand what socialism is about) don't want it, then WHY are they still voting party lines? Why are they still voting Democrat or Republican?

It is time for a change America, and that change is to start taking our country back and start looking towards another party the independent parties.

The Founding Fathers, having just come through a bloody revolution for the Rights and freedoms we as Americans enjoy today, wanted to make sure their posterity would always be able to protect themselves from a tyrannical government. To this end, they created the 2nd Amendment, not to protect the people from foreign invaders, but to protect the people from any administration or military who would seek to usurp the freedoms just won.

We continuously look back to the original intent of the Founders because they lived with real freedom, fought for that freedom therefore we respect their sacrifices, and because it is a real possibility their generation was the ONLY generation to live out the full fruits of their victory.

With each generation afterwards, we have lost their victory, by bits and pieces at first and then rapidly, beginning in 1861 with the Lincoln Administration.

Since 1913, we have been losing these freedoms by leaps and bounds. I suspect it is due to the [intentional] dumbing down of Americans, who today have no idea what is written in THEIR Constitution, who the Founders were, why the colonist even wanted to go to war with King George or why Socialism is viewed as a bad idea by many of the older generation.

Through out history, the world has seen certain patterns of behaviors in leaders who seek to have absolute rule over the people.

In a free society, government leaders value transparency in the process, free markets, which will correct themselves without manipulation, and the ablility of a person to go where they please as long as they don't harm anothers person, property or family. Where you can be anything and do anything without restraints so long as you harm no one else in the process.

You want to own a gun? Fine! Be responsible for it.

You want to own 20 guns? Fine! Be responsible for them.

All dictators and dictatorial governments start out by creating a "boogie-man", creating fear, and then tell the people they must surrender some of their rights so the great and wonderful government can protect them. BALONEY!

If people do not begin to understand what is happening before their eyes, then I don't see how there can be any hope to preserve the United States of America.

Every military person, every law enforcement person and believe it or not, every elected official take an Oath to Protect and Defend or Protect and Support the Constitution of the United States. Based on their actions, I don't see how it is possible for them to understand what that Oath meant when they sit by and allow obvious encroachments and the erosion of our freedoms...all in the name of "political correctness" or [false] necessity.

Our law enforcement personnel (the Constitution is the Supreme Law in America but they don't even understand it) and our military, instead of being the bulwark of the citizens are now the means to crush those who are trying to alert the sleeping population!

Maybe it's not "new" to you but I thought it was pretty neat.

At my house, they go to bed at 7:30pm because they get up at 2:30am to get ready for work...they have to be there by 4am!

This means I am usually in my room with the lights down low. Sometimes I want to watch my favorite shows (CSI, Bones, Criminal Minds, etc) and I can't.

I just saw "Satellite TV for PC, Elite Edition". You can pay once and you're done with it. (I LIKE that part!)

You just download the software to your computer or laptop and then you have access to 3000 channels! Now that's a deal!

What makes it even sweeter is right now there is a special going on so while it is regularly $99, you get it for only $49!

AND by me putting this on my laptop, I can take my TV with me wherever I go.

Not being a techie person, I don't know how to do this, but I hear there is a way to hook a computer to a TV monitor and watch TV via the bigger screen if you want to do it that way.

Usually when someone yells "EUREKA!", it signifies they have hit the "jackpot", found the gold, or otherwise was tremendously successful in whatever they were attempting to do.

Today, "EUREKA!" means "small town America standing against the Federal government". A type of David and Goliath event.

Eureka and nearby town, Arcata, both of California, have officially issued an ordinances, which may fly in the face of the "No Child Left Behind Act".

These two small towns apparently have a problem with the military recruiters approaching local minors.

The issue could be whether the provisions of the NCLB Act, tied to school funding, can reach outside the parameters of the school grounds.

Under the Act, schools receiving these federal funds MUST allow military recruiters access to the names, addresses and phone numbers of the students, UNLESS their parents have opted out. (Did you know you could Opt Out?)

On the heels of Dr. Tiller's demise, his long time buddy and co-abortionist, Dr. LeRoy Carhart of Bellevue, NE has decided to try and "pick up the slack", as it were at his clinic, the "Abortion & Contraception Clinic of Nebraska".

"Dr. LeRoy Carhart...said he would try to continue to provide late-term abortions, though Nebraska law forbids post-viability abortion. ...'I am currently exploring every option to be able to continue to make second and early-third-trimester abortions available.' I wonder how he would like to have a needle puncture his heart and a lethal amount of digoxin injected? He certainly doesn't see anything wrong doing this to the Innocent!

Perhaps the women who have these abortions should just be sterilized so they won't have to subject another innocent to such procedures. We could justify it as saving the doctors from getting more innocent blood on their hands. Besides, we take steps to prevent people who take animals to the city pound from ever being able to adopt animals in the future. If we can "protect" animals from those who would "toss them away", why can't we protect the babies? Prevent these mothers...er..women, from ever being able to subject another "fetus" to such horrific medical actions.

Carhart went on to compare Tiller to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr! King braved the times to bring a better class of existence to a nation of Black Americans. Tiller, and those like him, cause trauma and violence to the most vulnerable in our society, those who have no voice except the one of the "mother" who has made the choice to throw them away by any means available. Where is the comparison? How did Carhart possibly get from what Tiller and he do to the accomplishments of King? Talk about illusions of grandeur!

In the quote above, notice the fetus is referred to as an "it". Probably to encompass both genders of aborted babies, however, this glossing over by language is part of the attempt to desensitize us from making the connection that these babies are viable and may possibly live if they were removed from the womb. These are BABIES, not "IT"s!

The method used kills the infant while still attached to the umbilical cord, since the infant is still in the womb. Why does this NOT constitute murder on the side of the abortionist?

The party killed must have been a reasonable being, alive and in the king's peace. To constitute a birth, so as to make the killing of a child murder, the whole body must be detached from that of the mother; but if it has come wholly forth, but is still connected by the umbilical chord, such killing will be murder. 2 Bouv. Salute to the Dixie Chicks

In 2003 America came unglued on these women because they dared to not stand behind the current president, George W. Bush, and the war.

We now understand the basis for this war, the justification for this war, no matter how worthy it seems in hindsight, was all lies. We went to war on lies and faulty, whether purposefully or not, intelligence.

The Dixie Chicks later apologized for their remark about the president but not about their stance on the war.

At the time, one of their songs, "Travelin' Soldier" was #1 but quickly disappeared.

Natalie Maines, the firecracker in the group, didn't care for Toby Keith's hot song, "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)",and stated as much, going so far as to wear a t-shirt with the acronym "F.U.T.K.". This led to more friction for the girls.

These are Texas women and most Texas women are outspoken although some are more slick about it, stating their opinions in a way that are not too offensive to some. We all say we are sick and tired in living in a "politically correct" environment where we have to constantly worry about hurting some one's feelings, yet we blasted them for offending our sense of political correctness.

Not all of us though, as a great many quietly agreed with Natalie on her views. And while we loved Toby's song because it captured the feelings across the nation, he wasn't concerned as to the WHO really initiated the attack on 9/11...only that we go whip some butt...open up a can of "Texas Whup-ass" on someone, anyone...like a gigantic bar-room brawl. And we all said "hell yeah!"

Now we have a president who cares NOTHING for the principles and values of America (based on his actions). He only gives lip-service to the Constitution, having violated it the second he accepted the nomination for president, knowing full well he was not qualified to even throw his hat in the ring. I say this in the tone that he isn't qualified and he knows it since, based on his actions, he has spent a great deal of time, effort and money into sealing records, which would prove once and for all, he is qualified to be the President of the United Stated as out-lined in the Constitution. And he cares nothing for protecting the US from further attacks since he wants to dismantle our military defense programs and get into bed with the enemy, welcoming them with open-arms, to come live in our neighborhoods. (Perhaps Obama can arrange for them to live next door to Toby!)

By Obama's actions and statements, he is most likely a closet-Muslim and evidently a Socialist. And this is the president Toby Keith supports!

Why I Stopped Eating at MCDONALD'S®

A few years ago while at a local (n. Houston) MCDONALD'S® for breakfast, I witnessed the lady making my egg sandwich by grabbing the egg patty with her bare hands.

Totally disgusting!

When the counter lady brought my breakfast, I refused it and asked for my money back. She asked why, I told her. She turned to the lady who originally made the sandwich, said something to her in Spanish and the lady made me another sandwich, using the tongs this time.

I asked to speak to the manager, related what had happened and the evidence that they were hiring illegals since the worker could not speak English. I then asked for the corporate contact information.

Over the next few months, I tried various MCDONALD'S® around Houston. It was always the same. The workers used their bare hands instead of the tongs.

Do they have an issue with 1) following directions and 2) using tongs?

Then in March 2007 I went to Yucatan, Mexico to see the Mayan ruins. The ruins were magnificent but what I learned there about the hygiene (or rather NON-hygiene) practices of the locals, was shocking and stomach-turning.

(I have vowed to NEVER return to any country south of Texas again!)

Where we went one morning (a Catholic Church) so I could use the facilities was appalling. (No, I didn't use their restroom.) No toilet seats, no toilet paper, exterminate and urine on the the toilets and the floor, no running water and forget soap..what's that? I have seen gas station restrooms, run by middle easterners, cleaner than what I found in the Yucatan (except where the tourist gather). And this is just one example I am writing of, to spare the reader, there were MANY other examples as we were there 10 days, and in several different locations.

These people have NO CONCEPT of personal hygiene, or at least none that I saw.

So, now here comes an invasion of illegals into the USA, most probably from the smaller villages where the income is less, they steal the jobs our teens and elderly use to be able to get (mostly fast food but the trade & crafts jobs have "gone south" as well). They make our food and I'll bet my bottom dollar they aren't washing their hands!

Recently I went into a MCDONALD'S® as I was traveling with another who wanted to stop and we were not in Houston. I noticed the gal wearing clear gloves. I guess someone within MCDONALD'S® finally got the message.

This morning I get a post in my email that MCDONALD'S® is now sponsoring the National Council of La Raza!

This is my official position on the issue and I ask that every red-blooded AMERICAN and TEXAN search their hearts to join with me, I AM DONE WITH MCDONALD'S®. There are just too many other fast food places to grab a burger or salad, or kids meal...I will not support a company, WHICH DOES NOT SUPPORT THE AMERICAN WORKER!

And if I witness the same practices at the other locations, I'll stop visiting there as well.

Just an FYI,at my most recent visits to Wendy's, Jack-in-the-Box and Popeye's, I saw no Hispanics other than those who, when they spoke, spoke perfect English. I am again guessing they are Americans of Hispanic descent.

Patriot or Murderer

Those who live by the sword will die by the sword. A paraphrased version of Matthew 26:52, and it has come to be understood as those who treat people badly will be treated badly as well. Said another way, You will reap what you sow. (Galatians 6:7)

Most people, who are not Christians, are fond of pointing the finger at professed Christians when they "break the rules", reminding them of the principle they have broken. If you aren't a Christian, then you have no set rules to live by but if you profess to be a Christian, then you have very clear rules to follow.

Dr. George Tiller, a late-term abortionist out of Wichita, KS was fatally shot while attending the Reformation Lutheran Church. What had he sown that he now reaped?

His family calls him a "good Christian" and wants him to be remembered as such. I am sure they do, however, it is not what we want but what God wants that matters.

What does God want? How do we know such a thing? Who knows the mind of God?

What we have to go on is the Word of God, as written in the Scriptures and accepted by the Christian church. For Christians, this is all we have.

I went to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America to see their official position on the subject. I was dismayed but understood how someone could call themselves a Christian and still be an abortionist.

A developing life in the womb does not have an absolute right to be born, nor does a pregnant woman have an absolute right to terminate a pregnancy.

Should a church take a politically correct position on a sin? Can being "lukewarm" ever be the correct position for the church?

Christ said He would spew out the lukewarm church, the "fence riders". (Revelations 3:16)

If a woman wants an abortion, there are plenty of non-Christian doctors who can provide the service, but it is completely hypocritical for a Christian to do so.

The great "O" has stated he is "shocked and outraged" and "However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence." - LA Times

Just what does he think abortion is, if not violent? Perhaps it isn't a violent act towards the "mother" who has been sedated but if the baby could talk, I am sure it would characterize the act as very violent!

Should Scott Roeder, the suspect in the shooting, be found guilty? I say "No". He is no more guilty of murder than is Dr. Tiller. And perhaps Roeder was carrying out God's will, certainly Tiller wasn't.

I have heard it said that all the people in favor of abortion are those who have been born. How fortunate for them!

Olbermann Can't Think Like a Texian

I just got wind of this video by Keith Olbermann. I normally like what he says..for the most part but on the subject of Texas secession, he has it all wrong!

He sounds as though he is trying to make Texans afraid of the idea of secession, but if you listen again, I think he and others are the ones really fearful.

Since I could less about the sports issues he brought up, I won't address it. Someone else can do that.

All Texas would need to do is institute a 5% tax on goods and services crossing the border. Businesses in Texas, hiring Texans and keeping their jobs in Texas would be tax exempt.

Texas imports for 2005 (latest year I found) were $235,512,947,993.

Texas wouldn't need an Army as we would vote to do what the Swiss used to do, arm every citizen and each should maintain a month supply of ammo. We'd have the safest territory in the North American continent.

Once Texians are no longer feeding the Federal Reserve beast, they would have more money to pay off their bills and their homes, so there wouldn't be a drain on the nation. And since we would focus on personal responsibility, if you don't work, you don't eat and all the free loaders would go back to the US. If one were truly needy and unable to work due to physical or mental obstacles, the Church would be called upon to fulfill it's mandate by Christ to care for these people or there would be Charities..but there would not be government welfare.

The truth is that once Texians got over the shock of actually being free from the socialistic nation they have been brainwashed into thinking was theirs, they will flourish and began to recreate the golden years of American prosperity.

If you'll recall, the Democrats didn't think too much of the Tea Party wildfire that spread across America in April.

Seems California voters were thinking a great deal about it, as reported by WorldNet Daily.

"....the day after state voters rejected Schwarzenegger's spending ballot measures, the California Citizens Compensation Commission voted to slash pay for the governor, legislators and statewide officeholders by 18 percent." -- Californians revolt, slash governor's pay

Reportedly, California will now have to deport many of the illegals they have in the prisons. Why were they NOT deported when they were caught? How much money has been spent keeping these Mexican Nationals in the CA prison system? Try $970 million dollars, and that is only for 2009. (State seeks more federal aid for cost of keeping illegal immigrant inmates).

Now that Gov. Schwarzenegger will be going to Washington to petition for federal "bail out" money, perhaps his leverage will be the failure of Congress to deliver on it's 15 year old promise to help pay the cost of housing the illegals.

California will receive close to $440 million in stimlus funds, however it appears this money is specifically for water projects. Maybe they could come up with some creative ways of using the water funding to help bail out the state.

TX HB 2084: "Grandparent's Rights Devastation Act"

Texas House Bill 2084 is being sold to us as "Parental Rights Restoration". What a crock!

In truth, it is "Grandparent's Rights Devastation".

In order to find parents unfit, there must be more than "he said..she said...they said.." While accusations may get the state to have a look at a family, it is a far cry from enough to actually take the children away.

If there is enough EVIDENCE to remove the children, and the grandparents are willing to take them in, then who in their right mind would rather put their children with strangers?

If the grandparents are unfit, then by all means, the children should not be placed with them but, there should be a method of determining whether or not the grandparents are fit enough.

To pass legislation making a blanket ruling that ALL Texas grandparents should not be the first choice of where to place the child/ren when it has been determined the parent/s are not capable of caring for the child/ren, is unjust and places the children at risk.

Right now Texas is seeing an increase in the number of families suffering from stress and break-up due to the increased number of lay-offs, amount of debt, and lack of money.

Single mothers are seeing their child support payments being lowered because the father has either lost a job or received a pay cut. This places more stress on the mother, which in turn will place more stress on the children.

At a time when young families need the emotional and financial support of the grandparents, the last thing the State needs is to move against this segment of the population.

From a personal standpoint, I was raised by my father's parents and those were the happiest years of my life. From age 5 to 9, I knew more love and stability than I have ever found since leaving their home.

Any young parent who resents their parents or in-laws from being involved, should take a long look into the future, when they will be the grandparents and their children resent them.

Besides, from what I have seen of most of the people having children today, someone NEEDS to step in and protect the children from the self-indulgent, self-obsessed and immature adults passing themselves off as parents..before we raise an entire generation of sociopaths.

J. Zane Walley - We Sure Need You Now

The first time I saw Jay, I was covering a meeting of a local property rights group, in Truth-or-Consequences, NM. He was the key speaker and I was just blown away.

He told of his background in Tenn. where his grandfather had owned some choice land and how that land was basically "stolen". The land was condemned by the Tennessee River Valley Authority and then sold as river front lots!

The Green Scheme

Many years later, Jay went into law enforcement and became a detective or maybe it was a criminal investigator. I can't recall exactly. He eventually became a writer and wrote many articles for Range Magazine, even published in the Chicago Times.

His writings can be found in many issues of the Paragon Powerhouse newsletter. In Oct. 2005, he was awarded the "Paladin Award".

Jay is, without any doubt, one of the great champions in the fight to keep the government from Taking your private property, without a fight from you.

In Jan 2004, Jay suffered a stroke, which left him unable to continue his fight. I am sure this was viewed with a sigh of relief by those who support conservation easements.

I haven't seen to much about Jay in recent years and I sure hope he is recovering and will one day be in the fight again....we sure need him!

The 1868 Richard Henry Dana Brief

This letter was found by accident in the state archives in 2000 and was not listed as being within the historical papers of the person where it was found.

I have a photo copy of the handwritten, 5 page letter. I call the letter, the RICHARD HENRY DANA BRIEF of 1868 It is reproduced below in the same manner it was written, minus the indentions which I can not reproduce here.

Boston, August 24, 1868

The Honorable

William M. Evarts,

Attorney General,

Sir,

While preparing with yourself, before you assumed your present post, to perform the honorable duty the President had assigned to us, of conducting the trial of Jefferson Davis, you know how much my mind was moved, from the first, by doubts of the expediency of trying him at all. The reasons which prevented my presenting those doubts no longer exist, and they have so ripened into conviction that I feel it my duty to lay them before you in form as you now hold a post of official responsibility for the proceeding.

After the most serious reflection, I cannot see any good reason why the Government should make a question of whether the late civil war was treason and whether Jefferson Davis took any part in it, and submit those questions to the decision of a petit jury of the vicinage of Richmond at nisi prius .

As the Constitution in terms settles the fact that our republic is a state against which treason may be committed, the only constitutional question attending the late war was whether a levying of war against the United States which would otherwise be treason is relieved of that character by the fact that it took the form of secession from the Union by state authority. In other words, the legal issue was, whether secession by a state is a constitutional right, making an act legal and obligatory upon the nation which would otherwise have been treason.

This issue I suppose to have been settled by the action of every department of the Government, by the action of the people itself, and by those events which are definitive in the affairs of men.

The Supreme Court in the Prize Courts (2 Black’s Ref) held, by happily a unanimous opinion that acts of the States, whether secession ordinances, or in whatever form cast, could not be brought into the cases, as justifications for the war, and had no legal effect on the character of the war, or on the political status of territory or persons or property, and that the line of enemy’s territory was a question fact depending upon the line of bayonets of an actual war. The rule in the Prize Courts has been steadily followed in the Supreme Court since, and in the Circuit Courts, without an intimation of a doubt. That the lawmaking and executive departments have treated this secession and war as treason is matter of history, as well as is the action of the people in the highest sanction of war.

It cannot be doubted that the Circuit Court at the trial will instruct the jury in conformity with these decisions, that the late attempt to establish and sustain by war by independent empire within the United States was treason. The only question of fact submitted to the jury will be whether Jefferson Davis took part in the war. As it is one of the great facts of history that he was its head, civil and military, why should we desire to make a question of it and refer its decision to a jury, with powers to find in the negative or affirmative or to disagree? It is not an appropriate question for the decision of a jury, certainly it is not a fact which a Government should, without great cause, give a jury a chance to ignore.

We know that these indictments are to be tried in what was for five years enemy’s territory, which is not yet restored to the exercise of all its political functions, and where the fires are not extinct. We know that it only requires one discontent juror to defeat the Government and give Jefferson Davis and his favorers a triumph. Now, is not such a result one which we must include in our calculation of possibilities? Whatever modes may be legally adopted to draw a jury, or to purge it, and whatever the influence of the court or of counsel, we know that a favorer of treason may get upon the jury. But that is not necessary. A fear of personal violence or social ostracism may be enough to induce one man to withhold his ascent from the verdict, especially as he need not come forward personally, nor give a reason, even in the jury room.

The possible result would be most humiliating to the Government and people of this country, and none the less so from the fact that it would be absurd. The Government would be stopped in the judicial course because it could neither assume nor judicially determine that Jefferson Davis took part in the late civil war. Such a result would also bring into doubt the adequacy of our penal system to deal with such cases as this.

If it were important to secure a verdict as a means of punishing the defendant, the question would present itself differently. But it would be beneath the dignity of the Government and of the issue, to inflict upon him a minor punishment, and, as to a sentence of death, I am sure that, after this lapse of time, and after all that has occurred in the interval, the people of the United States would not desire to see it enforced.

In fine, after the fullest consideration, it seems to me that, by pursuing the trial, the Government can get only a reaffirmation by a Circuit Court at nici prius of a rule of public law settled for this country in every way in which such a matter can be settled, only giving to a jury drawn form the region of the rebellion a chance to disregard the law when announced. It gives that jury a like opportunity to ignore the fact that Jefferson Davis took any part in the late civil war. And one man upon the jury can secure the results. The risk of such absurd and discreditable issues of a great state trial, are assumed for the sake of a verdict which, if obtained, will settle nothing in law or natural practice not now settled, and nothing in fact not now history, while no judgment rendered thereon do we think will be ever executed.

Besides these reasons, and perhaps because of them, I think the public interest in the trial has ceased among the most earnest and loyal citizens.

If your views and those of the President should be in favor of proceeding with the trial, I am confident that I can do my duty as counsel to the utmost of my ability and with all zeal. For my doubts are not what the verdict ought to be. On the contrary, I should feel all the more strongly, if the trial is begun, the importance of victory to the Government, and the necessity of putting forth all power and using all lawful means to secure it. Still, I feel it my duty to say that if the President should judge otherwise, my position in the case is at his disposal.

My Heart is in Texas

There is just nothing better than to see a field of bluebonnets in the spring. Usually there are Indian Paintbrushes springing up here and there as well.

The photo above was taken by Pat Kominczak of The StringBenders just a week ago. Isn't it just a beautiful sight! A Texas longhorn munching on bluebonnets....both symbols of Texas.

There has been allot of talk in Texas lately of secession, due to the aggressive encroachment on the rights of Texas at the state level by an ever revealing socialistic administration. Governor Perry has come out saying secession is not the first choice but it is on the table of options.

"We've got a great union. There's absolutely no reason to dissolve it. But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what might come out of that. But Texas is a very unique place, and we're a pretty independent lot to boot." -- Gov. rick Perry

If he will put the vote to the people, he would be surprised to find a majority of Texans would support that option.

What would secession mean for Texas?

In a word: Freedom

In another word: Liberty

By and large, Texas is a Christian faith state. You may not believe that by talking to city dwellers, but get into the rural parts of Texas and you will find a great many people not afraid to let you know, Christ is their Saviour.

These aren't what most folks would refer to as Bible-thumpers, they may not even go to church every Sunday, but they have a strong faith just the same.

These people would rather see Texas as a state in the USA because they have a sense of loyalty to America, but that loyalty is to a free America, not a socialistic America. If the rest of the USA doesn't mind going down the road to socialism, well, Texans won't go with them.

The error is in the assumption that the General Government is a party to the constitutional compact. The States … formed the compact, acting as sovereign and independent communities. – John C. Calhoun

If the choice is Freedom or Socialism, hands down, Texans will vote to secede.

How can I be so sure? Because I live here, in Houston. I talk with the average joe blow every day. I hear what folks are whispering.

Texans are a fiercely independent bunch of people, out-spoken and direct with their opinions,they'll help anyone but they don't like being told who to help and when to help.

If Texas were to secede, there would be no more Federal Income Tax, we'd get rid of the IRS with a snap of the fingers, or with that one vote. That alone would put more money in the pockets of Texans, and more money in the economy.

Companies would be more likely to keep their manufacturing jobs here than sending them overseas because we are smart enough to create incentives for doing just that. And on a personal note (Governor Perry, are you reading this?) companies that send their jobs overseas should be taxed higher than companies which create jobs in Texas.

Texas has it's own electrical power grid, we have cattle, sheep and goats, cotton and grain, rice, natural gas, oil (Conoco-Phillips, Exxon-Mobil, Halliburton, Valero, and Marathon Oil), shipping, fishing, medical research, NASA, technologies (Dell, Inc., Texas Instruments, Perot Systems, AT&T, and Electronic Data Systems (EDS), solar power and it looks as though Texas will have great potential in the field of biofuels as well.

Texas leaving a socialist America is a no brainer for Texans, and I could see why Washington DC would not let Texas go without a fight. It could be 1861 all over again.

"We do heartily accept this doctrine, believing it intrinsically sound, beneficent, and one that, universally accepted, is calculated to prevent the shedding of seas of human blood. And, if it justified the secession from the British Empire of Three Millions of colonists in 1776, we do not see why it would not justify the secession of Five Millions of Southrons from the Federal Union in 1861." - The New-York Daily Tribune, December 17, 1860

One major difference is today, any prevention to Texas by Washington DC would be viewed by the entire world, thanks to the Internet. (I was going to write "the news media" but they seldom report the truth any more. Just look at how they non-reported the recent Tea Parties across America.) And US supported Kosovo's declaration of independence from Serbia in February 2008, so the whole world would be watching to see how the administration would treat Texas declaring it's independence...again.

In a recent news article, a political science professor at Southern Methodist University stated Texas no longer had the right of secession due to having signed a document '...that renounced the original secession." This supposedly happened at the end of the Civil War in Texas as Texas was being brought back into the Union.

First, Texas was in the process of dissolving its relationship with the United States prior to the Civil War. When the war was over, Texas being made to sign any document in order to rejoin the Union would be considered "under duress" and arguable as unenforceable by any law student.

Texas would have been happy to not have been brought back into the Union so Texas signed that document at gun point and was brought back to Lincoln as a prize, a spoil of the War.

Truth be told these many long years, Texas could be described as an occupied nation since 1865.

April 19th Should be a National Holiday

From the beginning of America, April 19th has hosted important events.

It was on this day in 1775 that Capt. John Parker, minuteman commanding the militia, ordered his men not to fire on the British Regulars fast approaching unless fired upon first. The British were coming because the militia, with the help of local colonist had been stockpiling weapons (cannons, powder, muskets), food, and who knew what else.

The British soldiers had been ordered by King George to stop the insolent colonist who had already demonstrated, via the Boston Tea party, that they had had enough of government intrusion into their lives.

When the Regulars arrived, they made the historically famous mistake of demanding from the militia their weapons and supplies. Of course the militia had no intention of giving up their weapons. When they resisted, a British soldier fired a shot and the rest is history.

In 1933, the beginning of the financial end of America was initiated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who in his infinite wisdom, decided America didn't need to be on the Gold Standard and made his announcement. Why the people didn't stand up then, I don't know. Perhaps they were just too busy trying to survive the depression to worry about what Washington DC was up too.

It was on this date in 1939 when Connecticut decided it was time to join with other states and voted to approve the Bill of Rights. Was it that it just took Connecticut this long to get around to it, or was this an attempt to quietly remedy an embarrassing situation? After all, they joined the United States in 1788, what had they been doing for protection under the B.o.R. since then?

1993, Waco Texas. The Branch Davidian, had been stockpiling food supplies, weapons, ammunition (sound strangely familiar?) to the discontent of the Federal Government, and came under siege by the ATF, FBI and eventually the US military. Texas Gov. Ann Richards gives official approval for President Clinton, through Attorney General Janet Reno, to violate the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 and send in Delta Force to deal with the civilians. The resulting death of women and children would earn Reno the appropriate nickname "The Butcher of Waco".

In 1995, a cow-poop bomb supposedly blew up the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in OKC, all by it's self. We are suppose to believe that countless news reporters, First Responders and even the Bomb Squad, all had mass hallucinations as to the bombs going off as had been reported. April 19th should be a day of remembrance for all freedom fighters in America. Remembering the people can not trust the government, the people can never, NEVER give up their 2nd Amendment, and that the people must band together, stand together and let the world know we are not domestic terrorist as labeled by some in our government, but we are Americans, in the truest sense of the word.
