Drinking a cup of coffee and voicing an opinion, Quintessentially American

There are some things, which are mutually exclusive in their current state. A truth & a lie. A Christian & an Atheist. An American & an Obama supporter. IF you were to mutate the American, I suppose they could exist as an Obama supporter, however the principles of Socialism contradict the Rights enumerated in the Constitution, so there is no way a "loyal American" could ever support a "Socialist president", therefore it becomes an oxymoron.

Why We Need These Women

In 2008 Americans supposedly rushed out to vote for an all but unknown Democrat presidential candidate as a backlash against the policies of the Bush Administration. The people were angry and they acted without due diligence.

This sweeping of Democrats into office has now been revealed as a huge mistake. A monumental mistake of such proportions that the reaping is more than most Americans can bear, more than America can bear.

Rumors abound that Sarah Palin will seek the Republican nomination for President in 2012. The polls are showing a middle range for her. Not the best but not the worst either.

It is well known among the people that Palin is not willing to play in the same clubhouse as the Big Boys. She cleaned up her party's house in her own state so there is no reason to think she would not attempt to do the same in Washington DC.

"...she went on to sack political appointees with close ties to industry lobbyists and shelved pork projects." and "...she sold the private jet [former AK Gov.] Mr. Murkowski used to get around Alaska, relying instead on commercial airlines.. "-- Profile of Alaska's Sarah Palin: Governor, Reformer, Mother by Jim Carlton

This is just one of the many reasons why America needs her to win, if she runs.

Some of her accomplishments during her 1st term as Mayor of Wasilla, AK:

  1. Cut property taxes by 75% and eliminated personal property and business inventory taxes
  2. Made improvements to the roads and sewers
  3. Increased funding to the Police Department
  4. Reduced her own $68,000 salary by 10%

What other governor of any state made these kinds of decisions?

And speaking of governors, Texas is seeing a surge of support for black horse gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina. Some of her support is the backlash to the bushwhacking Medina received at the hands of Glenn Beck and his just as arrogant sidekick, Pat Gray. Bad move on the part of Glenn Beck who is seeing a drop in his Texas supporters according to the comments made by people on social networking sites like Facebook and on the radio talk shows.

Not a career politician, Medina is instead a common sense business owner and professional nurse. We need that with this socialist style Health Care Reform being ramrodded down Americans throats.

Medina, supported by many self-identified Tea Party members, believes in limited government and individual freedoms. She believes in and intends to give not only the Texas Constitution but the U.S. Constitution more than just the lip service her fellow candidates have given. She is a breath of fresh air for Texas. While Perry & Hutchinson ignore her, assured she is little more than a Nat flying around an elephant's butt, people are flocking to her as she gives them hope they can get Texas back on track.

Sarah Palin and Debra Medina have never forgotten this very important principle, the government and it's representatives, serve at the pleasure of the People. That all political power rest with the People. Texas incorporated it from the Republic of Texas Constitution into the State Constitution:

Texas Constitution
Article 1. Bill of Rights
Section 2. INHERENT POLITICAL POWER; REPUBLICAN FORM OF GOVERNMENT. All political power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority, and instituted for their benefit. The faith of the people of Texas stands pledged to the preservation of a republican form of government, and, subject to this limitation only, they have at all times the inalienable right to alter, reform or abolish their government in such manner as they may think expedient.
